New(ish) To The Squad - Ayden Mekus Love Story

Today's the day, I'm going back to California and, I'm going to see Piper again! That was the first thing I thought of as soon as I woke up. Stretching, I grabbed my phone and looked at the time. Gosh, it's already 8? With that, I quickly got changed made sure I had everything and went down stairs. "Morning mom!" I said, as I poured myself the last of the cereal. "Morning honey, you excited?" Mom asked. "I'm so excited. I can't wait to go back and see her again!" I said and mom laughed at me.

After finishing my breakfast, the time was 8:30AM. "Right, are you ready to go?" Mom said as she picked up her car keys. "As ready as I'll ever be!" I said. We both grabbed our suitcases, took them to the car and put them in. Mom, locked the house up for the last time and off we went. 

We arrived at the airport and saw the auto transporter there, that would take our car to the new house for us. Before they took it, we grabbed the suitcases. They then loaded the car and went off. Mom and I, went into the airport, dropped of our suitcases, went through security and sat outside the gate to the airplane. 

"I'm just going to go to the bathroom, I'll be back in a minute." I said to mom. She nodded and I went off. Once I finished, I decided to text Hunter and tell him the update.

The Messages:

You - Hey Hunter, we're boarding our plane in about 10 minutes and the flight is 5 hours so we should be there for about 4

Hunter - Ok cool. I can't wait to see you again

You - Neither can I I'm going to go though bye

Hunter - Bye see you soon

I put my phone in my back pocket and went back to mom. When I got back, she handed me back my jacket and we sat waiting. 

Once 5 minutes had passed an announcement was made saying, we could board our flight. So, me and mom got up handed the person at the gate our tickets and made our way. We got onto the plane, found our allocated seats and sat down. The flight attendant, went through all the safety stuff and then we were off. 

About an hour later, one of the air hostesses came round asking if anyone wanted food. I just grabbed a salad box and orange juice. I sat eating and then, I got a message of Piper.

The Messages:

Piper - Hey Ells, why haven't you messaged or called me all day

You - I'm sorry Piper, I'm really busy at the moment I will try and call you as soon as I can

Piper - Ok, I'll talk to you later byee

You - Byeee

I put in my air pods and listened to music for the rest of the flight.  

Finally, after another 4 hours of babies crying, kids shouting and parents panicking we made it to LA. Mom and I grabbed our hand luggage and made our way off the plane and into the airport. We found the baggage carousel, and stood waiting for our suitcases. They came around, 10 minutes later and then we made our way outside the airport. There, we saw our car. "Did you tell them to drop it off here?" I asked, looking at mom. "I did yeah. Why?" She asked. "I'm not sure. Just though, they would've took it to the house." "Well, they didn't but, come on we're only 20 minutes away from seeing Piper again. 

And mom was right! 20 minutes later, we turned up at our new home. "Go on, I'll take all the stuff in, you go and see Piper!" Mom said. I smiled at her and then said, "thanks mom." I got out the car and made my way to Piper's. I remembered the pin as, Piper told me on one of our calls. I opened it, walked up the driveway and then text Hunter saying I was here. Within seconds, Hunter and Lev came out. I walked up to them and gave Hunter a  hug. "Ella, nice to see you again!" He said. "It's great to see you too!" I said. We parted and then I hugged Lev. "It's great to finally meet you!" Lev said. "It's great to meet you too. But, don't worry I'm not actually going to go through terms and conditions." I said. We both laughed and then Hunter started talking. He was explaining the plan. So, with that Lev went back inside to tell Piper and then me and Hunter got into position. 

Lev P.O.V: 

I went back inside to tell Piper. As I walked back into the living room, everyone turned to look at me. "Who was that?" Piper asked. "Oh, it's just someone for you at the door." I said. "Where's Hunter then?" She asked. "He's talking to the person." I answered, trying not to be to suspicious. Piper nodded, put her shoes on and went out. "Who actually is it?" Jentzen asked. "It's Piper's best friend who she hasn't seen for 3 years. First member of the squad!" I explained. Everyone made 'o' shaped mouth and we just sat and waited.

Back to you:

I turned my head towards Hunter and whispered (but loud enough for him to hear), "I'm so nervous!" "You'll be fine!" He said, giving me a thumbs up. I smiled at him and then, the door knob turned. Then, the door opened and revealed a surprised looking Piper. "Ella?" She said. I waved and said, "hi!" She bent down to the floor and covered her face. She got back up and, came running over to me. She came to me with such force, that I stumbled back a bit but didn't fall over. I hugged her back. "Your here. That's why you haven't called me all day!" "That's why I haven't called you all day. I'm here to stay for good. See that house there," I said pointing over the fence. She nodded her head. "Well, that's my new house. I'm right next door to you!" She looked at me and smiled. "That's amazing. But, you need to come inside there's loads of people I want you to meet!" Piper said. I smiled at her and she pulled me inside with, Hunter following behind us. 

Piper took me into the living room where a bunch of people were and everyone looked at me. "Ella, the squad, the squad, Ella!" Piper said, introducing everyone. They all got up and introduced themselves other than, Lev.

"Hey, I'm Emily!" 

"Hey, I'm sawyer!" 

"Jentzen!" 

"I'm Elliana!" 

"I'm symonne!" 

"I'm Jenna, nice to meet you!"

"I'm Claire!" 

Then, the last person came and introduced themselves. He was the most perfect human I've ever seen. "Hey, I'm Ayden. It's nice to meet you!" In my head I was thinking, 'oh my gosh this man it's gorgeous.' "Ella!" I said. He smiled at me and sat back down. Lev and the boy that introduced himself as Jentzen were dabbing him up. Why? I don't know. 

The time now is 6:00PM. I spent the time, getting to know everyone, them getting to know me and, we got each other's phone numbers. "I best be off, I need to get dinner and the moving truck should be here in a bit." I said. "Come tomorrow at about 12, so we can film a video!" Piper said. "Ok!" I said. I got up, said goodbye to everyone and left. 

I walked up the driveway and into the house. "Welcome honey!" Mom said as I, walked in. I smiled and looked around the house. "How was it?" Mom asked. "It was alright! Piper was so excited to see me again and the squad were so nice. There's this one boy though, he's really cute!" I admitted to my mom. "Oo has my little girl got a crush." She said teasing me. I started blushing and looked down. "So, looks like the moving truck has been here already." I said as I, looked around the room and saw boxes. "Yeah, I've done a little bit already. Tiffany's coming over tomorrow to help me paint and decorate the rooms. You have your bed in your bedroom but, I'm decorating it tomorrow so at the moment it's plain." Mom explained and I nodded my head. "Can we get dinner? I'm starving." I exclaimed. "Yeah sure, do you want to get McDonald's?" Mom asked. I nodded my head and mom opened the Door Dash app and she ordered what we wanted. 

Soon after, the food arrived. We both sat and ate whilst watching Netflix. Mom and I done a little bit of decorating. I looked at my phone to see the time was 9:00PM. "I'm going to head to bed mom, I'm pretty tired and Piper wants me to go and film tomorrow." I said. "Ok honey, good night!" Mom said. "Night mom!" I said and I, went up the stairs and into my bedroom. Wow. I thought to myself. This bedroom is bigger then my last one. I couldn't be bothered to shower tonight as I was so tired. So, instead I got changed into night clothes and then watched some Netflix on my phone as I fell into a deep sleep.
