Anya sat in a recliner reading one of the many books Zac left her with. Meanwhile Alvin was in his room pacing back and forth out of worry for Zac.
"Oh god he is going to die! It's all my fault! I should have killed Clark when I had the chance! There is no way Zac can take him alone in the state he is in right now!" Alvin's voice was muffled from the other side of the closed door, but Anya was able to hear everything perfectly from the main lounge area of the cabin.
"Ughhh," Anya sighed as she reached for the Bow of Loyalty. It felt weird without the Stone of Dexterity in it. Anya didn't feel the magical power she felt when she first touched it, but the bow still felt like it belonged to her. She reached for her quiver and plucked out an arrow. She ran her fingers down the wooden shaft as she pulled back the string. With a big breath she released the string causing the arrow to fly across the room landing in the fireplace causing the arrow to burn.
"Ughh," Anya sighed as she missed the crest of house McKnight carving she was aiming for. Anya reached down for another arrow, she lifted it up to see the copper shaft of an explosive arrow, and her own reflection staring back at her.
"I really am nothing without that stone. I will never be a good enough archer or mage! I have all this potential, one in a million, it's wasted on a weakling like me! Kaitlyn would be so disappointed in me if she saw me now!" Anya thought to herself as her red fur began to darken due to her tears. Just as she wiped her tears away she noticed a flash in the reflection of the copper shaft of the arrow. She turned around to see her adoptive fathers appear in the kitchen of the cabin. They both fell to the floor exhausted from the fight they fled from.
"OH MY GOD ALVIN THEY'RE ALIVE!" Anya shouted.
"What do you mean they're!" Alvin screamed as he slammed his door open causing a nearby painting to fall off the wall. Alvin's face widened as he saw Zac and Raymond lying on the floor with visible injuries and dust covering them and their clothing.
"Shit Anya help me get them to a bed," Alvin said as he grabbed Zac.
"On it!" Anya replied as she reached for Raymond. The two carried the lovers to a bedroom for some desperately needed rest and healing.
