The Cabin was decorated with everything Anya brought over from the palace. She hung fairy lights along the ceiling of her room giving the room an aesthetic glow to it. Anya's record collection and player was moved out to the living room next to the fireplace. Anya had a bookshelf organized with all her favorite books, decorations and knickknacks. Anya turned one of the extra bed rooms into a makeshift archery range. In a pile next to the extra comfy recliner Anya placed all of the tomes Zac made her bring, so one day she might actually read and study them. In a locked black metal box on the coffee table resided the Bow of Loyalty. Lars was able to get it back from the investigation unit, but not the key.

"Alright, do you have everything you need for now?" Zac asked as he picked up his staff.

"Yeah I should," Anya said as she sat down on the couch.

"Okay I will see you tomorrow then," Zac said with a smile.

'Don't blow the place up!" Alvin said laughing before Zac teleported them away. At that moment Anya was alone, truly alone. Even before she was taken in by Kaitlyn her previous caretaker was a human who never let Anya out of her sight. Thus never letting her be alone ever.

"What should I do?" Anya asked herself. She got up and walked towards the boxy television set and flicked it on. After a few seconds of static the news channel flashed on. The picture was black and white, an older human male sat in the center of the table, while a female ark sat to his left and a younger human male to his right.

"In recent news, the young princess has not been seen publicly since the Trial of Prince Benedict. It is unknown if she herself will face criminal punishment or if she is even in custody," the older human said.

"That is surely strange don't you think? Why would she do that? What was she thinking?" the female ark asked.

"I don't know, but since she was able to sneak in a weapon don't you think that shows that King Lars allowed the security to be this week. Could this be the decline of the McKnight Dynasty?" the younger news anchor said. Anya became flabbergasted at the things she was seeing.

"Well, on related news, King Lars will once again have to restart the Phayor restriction plan after Prince Benedict's attacks, the regent of Steelesville stated that they will repay Phayor for its help in its recent attack by sending high grade construction materials. This rebuild is expected to cost taxpayers millions if not billions," the older news anchor stated. Anya clicked the switch off on the TV, killing the image and sound before the news anchors were able to speak. Anya sat down on the recliner and picked up the tome on the top of the pile. And began to skim through it to get her mind off of what she just watched. Its contents were boring, just the fundamentals of magic and how it works. None of the cool stuff Anya has seen Zac do, but one page piped her interest. In the last chapter there was a rune that was intended to be used for small item levitation/manipulation. There was a note scribbled in red pen that read: "if you charge the rune long enough and focus hard enough you can use this as a makeshift lock pick!" Anya immediately looked up from the tome and smiled as she looked at the locked black box on the coffee table. She stood up and kneeled down in front of the box. She gripped the tome in her left hand and extended out her right. She followed the steps on the page and the note beneath it. Her hand glowed a soft blue and so did the lock.

"Come on you can do it Anya!" Anya said to herself as she focused on manipulating the internals of the lock. Eventually a small click was heard breaking Anya from her concentration. The lock opened and slowly floated into Anya's glowing hand. She chuckled as she placed the lock on the table and lifted the lid up on the box. Inside sat the Bow of Loyalty, Anya picked it up and gripped it in her hands. She traced her fingers along the wooden craftsmanship, she frowned as her finger slid into the empty hole for the Stone of Dexterity. Anya carried the bow to her new bedroom where on a shelf sat the black velvet box with the silver clasps, and the seal of house McKnight. Anya placed the Bow of Loyalty on her bed before she made her way to the shelf. She opened the clasps and lifted the lid to the box.

The light shown on to the tiara causing the gems to sparkle and reflect around the room. She lifted the tiara out of the box and placed it on a mannequin head on her dresser. Anya looked into the mystical light blue Stone of Dexterity. Her reflection stared back at her as she tried to figure out a way to remove it. Anya traced her fingers along the edges of the stone, looking for a weak point in the craftsmanship. Just as she was about to give up she felt the stone wiggle just the lightest bit, Anya applied more pressure with her claw. Careful as not to damage the tiara or the Stone of Dexterity. After some mild prying the stone fell into her hands. It was unnaturally warm, but it felt so good to feel that feeling once again. Anya brough the stone over to the Bow of Loyalty and placed it into the carved hole near the middle of the bow.

"How do I get you to stay in here?" Anya asked herself. Anya walked out into the hallway and opened a closet door of random supplies that royal staffers have been stockpiling for years. Anya rummaged through the closet looking for anything that could help her, and then she found it an old forgotten tube of glue. She picked it up off of the shelf, and brushed off the layer of dust with her red fingers. She opened the cap and looked at the contests, it looked old and ancient, but still had some moisture left to it. She brought the old tube to the Bow of Loyalty and smeared a tiny amount on her right index finger. She ran her finger along the hole getting enough to get the Stone of Dexterity to stay. Quickly placing the stone into the glue filled hole.

"This should do," Anya thought to herself as she walked out of her bedroom down to her makeshift archery range. As Anya walked into the room she realized she had no arrows.

"Really!?" Anya breathed out loud as she realized her missing quiver. Anya still lifted the Bow of Loyalty up, and pulled back the string pretending to fire an arrow. As Anya ran her finger from the imaginary arrow to the string she felt a sensation in her hand. Anya's eye widened as she saw an arrow of pure magical energy Infront of her. Out of shock Anya released the string sending the arrow flying into the target in front of her.

"What the fuck?" Anya asked herself as she looked down at her hands. Anya lifted up the Bow of Loyalty and pulled the string back to hopefully recreate what just happened. Just like before an arrow of pure magical energy manifested for her. Anya released it once again, bullseye, dead center in the target.

"Well whatever this is I'm definitely showing dad tomorrow," Anya thought to herself as she smirked.

Later

The clock on Anya's bed side table read 10:38 P.M. The only lights illuminating the room was that of the fairy lights and the bathroom light leaking into the bedroom. The click of the light switch dimed the room even more. Anya walked out of the bathroom and into her bedroom. She wore a black t-shirt, and sweatpants. She yawned as she made her way to her bed. She lifted up the covers and laid down. She unplugged a cord on her power strip cutting the fairy lights, leaving the room in complete darkness. She rested her head on the pillow to hopefully drift off into sleep.
