Diego come on Manny yelled Diego started to run towards the ice boat

come on move it Manny yelled Diego continued to run towards the ice boat and was almost there but was tackled to the ground by a white saber-toothed-tiger it was Shira the pirate saber Shira pinned Diego to the ground Manny grabbed a log and found a crack and put the log in it he held the log in his teeth the keep the boat in place 

why are you doing this Diego asked Shira looked at him for a minute thinking the exact same thing 

why am I doing this she asked herself quietly but Diego heard her 

you don't have to do this he told her she looked at him she smiled a little bit at his words she had forgot all about Gutt and his crazy plan she was about to let him up but she then remembered his warning: you take the saber down or die trying no excuses her smile faded she looked at the saber under her with regret in her eyes   

you don't understand I don't have a choice Shira said 

what do you mean you don't have a choice Diego asked 

I mean exactly that I can't leave if I do he'll kill me Shira said 

I won't let that happen we all have choices Shira Diego said the saber looked at him thinking about his words but then the reminder that one of them could die came into her mind

not me Gutt saved my life I owe him said the white saber

Diego come on Manny yelled 

get over here lady Granny yelled to him 

you don't have to live this way Shira we take care of each other Diego said

I can't leave Shira said 

yes you can Diego said 

Diego I can't hold on for much longer Manny told the tiger just then the log broke 

Diego Manny called to his friend

you'll be safe with us the male saber said

I owe him Diego I can't leave Shira said 

yes you can you don't owe him anything if anything he owes you Diego said Shira got off of the other saber 

Diego come on its moving out into open water Manny told his friend 

I can't just go Shira said 

yes you can Diego said 

no I can't Gutt saved my life I can't go the white saber said 

Shira he doesn't deserve your loyalty Diego said 

come on Diego Manny yelled 

come with us Diego told her Shira still looked conflicted 

come with me he added Shira looked at him and nodded they started to run towards the boat 

were not gonna make it Shira said 

yes we are Manny we got another passenger Diego told his friend the mammoth nodded just then Gutt appeared on the mountain and started to run after them Shira saw this and stopped  running Diego jumped onto the boat a minute later and saw that Shira hadn't 

what are you doing Diego asked 

I've go your back Shira said she pushed a pile of ice in Gutt's way he slipped and fell Shira looked at the boat and saw it was making its way to open sea Diego looked worried then a determined looked appeared on his face 

JUMP Diego told her 

what she asked 

Jump he told her again

that's crazy Shira said 

its not crazy you can do it Jump the male saber told her again

I can't its too far the female saber said

not its not Diego said Shira looked at him 

trust me he told her she nodded she backed up then started to run when she jumped she screamed 

Manny now the male saber said to his friend the mammoth grabbed Shira with his trunk and brought her on board 

you you caught me Shira said Manny nodded 

I did Manny said 

why she asked 

your part of the herd now Shira your one of us now and here we look out for one another Manny said Shira looked at him

thank you she said Manny nodded Diego walked up to her

told you you could trust me Diego said Shira got up to her feet Shira then nuzzled him which surprised him but he soon nuzzled back 

that night Shira and Diego fell asleep under the stars together Shira's head was on his shoulder and Diego's head was on her back Shira then snuggled her head into Diego's chest he looked down at her a little shocked but then he smiled he laid his head on hers and they fell asleep but before they did 

I love you softie the male saber looked at her 

I love you too kitty said the white saber
