After the events of "Collision Course", life has been going smoothly for the herd. New members arrive. Or to be more specific, Diego and Shira are blessed with cubs. So are Peaches and Julian with their own child, as well as Sid and Brooke. The children grow up, aware they're different from most kids due to their strange family. Regardless, they couldn't be happier. Unfortunately, this happy life comes to a halt when enemies from the past return... and the children are soon thrown into an adventure much like their predecessors. Old friends and enemies appear, as do new ones. Trials and tribulations alike occur but hey, that's the beauty of life, isn't it?

Set four years after the events of " ice age the extinction". A new villain emerges to take over Hyrax Island. And this time the only ones that can save it are the girls.
