An unexpected break happened for team rwby so ruby and yang decide to head home to patch with Blake and weiss to allow them to meet their dad they arrive at ruby and yangs old home and they enter and the four heard noises from the kitchen so they went to investigate and what they saw shocked all of them there was the infamous neo standing infront of yang and Ruby's father they star preparing to attack when something unexpected happened

The four were confused

Ruby: dad?
Tai and neo looked to where ruby was with her team in their eyes widen
Tai: oh hey little rose I didn't see you there
Ruby: why are you with that criminal and why is she in our house
The tai starts trying to think til he saw yang about to grab the memory book he goes to get it but yang was faster

she flipped a page and her eyes widen at what she saw her dad proposing to neo and neo with her hand to her mouth in surprise
Yang: what is the meaning of this!
Yang shouts in anger at her father showing the photo to them and the others they are shocked while you and tai looked down
Tai: sit down we'll tell you
Ruby and the others sit down with you and yang

You look down and looked back up holding a different sign
You:/I'm a mafia boss it's a dangerous business and when you were born I had to leave you so you could be safe I was afraid one of my rivals will find out and kill you just to get at me and I wanted you two live a long happy life\
You look down again tai rubs your back comforting you while ruby and yang are digesting the information just said to them
Yang: but what about raven dad you said raven was my mom
Tai: I lied you kept asking who your mom was and the first that came to mind for a lie was raven
Yang: so I was looking for her for nothing

Yang got angry and wanted to fight tai tai accepted as he knew there was no way to calm her down now Blake and weiss followed to make sure yang doesn't kill him leaving only you and ruby you two sat in silence til ruby spoke
Ruby:so your my mom huh
You look at ruby and nod your head
Ruby:can't believe I was fighting my mom all this time is that why I always see you pull your attacks

You nod and stand up with her and you hugged her ruby held you tightly crying you hold her once ruby is done crying see let's you go sniffling you wipe her tears and look up at her in a comforting way
Ruby:so what was that thing that happened when we saw you and dad
You look off to the side with dull eyes
