Ginny laughed as I took her hand and sped out into the clear summer air, we spun round and round, wandering which of the fabulous stores we would visit first. The others walked calmly out through the great doors behind us, Percy took a pouch of money from Molly, straightened his prefect (or should I say perfect) badge, and set off in a brisk walk towards Flourish and Blotts. Fred and George set off with Charlie (who was leaving to Romania in two days) towards Gambol and Japes. Molly also headed off to Flourish and Blotts, bringing out Percy, the twin's and Ron's school lists on the way (I wanted to buy my own stuff), Ron trailed behind. Arther walked off with Bill (who was also visiting) to talk to a ministry friend. That left me and Ginny, I grabbed her hand and sped off.
First we stopped at Chocolaitos Leviosa and got two cold chocolates with ice cream...mmm...delish. Then we ran into Madame Malkin's where Ginny tried on lots of oversize ballgowns and hats while I stood on a stool being measured. Madame Malkin enquired after our health to which Ginny replied in a posh accent with a hat with a stuffed eagle on her head. By the time I stopped laughing silently, Madame had messed my robes up completely. When we walked out, I dropped three extra galleons in for wasted material and trouble.
We then went to a muggle/wizard clothes store which has wicked clothes and we loved it, when we neared the girls underwear section, we heard giggling, Fred and George were shifting through the undergarments, occasionally popping one into their basket!
"This is awesome Georgie!!"
"Yeah, look at me!!" George put a pair of pants on his head and flounced about.
"I'm sorry, I can't!" Fred was wearing a bra as goggles!
That was to much for Ginny, but before she collapsed on the floor in a heap, she put her posh voice on and grabbed another had with a bird on, this time it was a falcon.
"hem hem," the boys stopped , shocked. "You youths look like the experts I need, I was looking through these undergarments, and I was wandering if I should buy this set, I'll just come through here and show you what I look like in them." she said, while pretending to try and struggle through the mass of clothes on the rack in front of her. "Oh golly, I seem to be stuck, would one of you lovely boys untangle me?" She got no answer, the boys had fled.
We spent a few minutes rolling on the floor, squashing the bird hat in the process. Finally, we got up and paid, Ginny bought the bird hat.
"Just the hat I need!" she said, an evil glint in her eye. Oh boy oh boy!
We replenished my potion supply, I already was whiz at potions, better than Charlie (although that's not saying much. We also got some random ingredients to experiment with.
We fought through the crowds at Flourish and Blotts, grabbed a few things, payed, and scarpered. We emerged onto the cobbled stones that paved the alley gasping for breath, time for a break, I thought. We linked arms and ran to Fortescue's where we sat at the bar. Florean walked over to us.
"Hello,Ginny, Harmony, the usual?" I shook my head, and pointed to the menu. He gasped. "You do realise, Harmony, that the Dragon's Fury Special hasn't been made since Bill tried it on his graduation day!" Ginny grinned.
"All the better to beat my big bro." She said, clicking her neck and stretching.
Florean laughed maniacally and started rushing around his kitchen, completely ignoring the other customers.
Soon a crowd formed, and I was getting slightly worried at the noises coming from out the back. Soon it was ready.
The Dragon's Fury Special was huge!!! It was bigger than the bird hat! It was in the shape of a Hungarian Horntail and was constantly circling the massive platter that held it. Every now and then it would spit real flames out at the crowds. As the custom with magical ice cream, it wasn't melting. The icy scales glittered in the fire light,
