Moody handed me a hip flask of my own, "Merry Christmas, soldier." He said.
===============
I turned out that my prize was not just a hip flask, but something much more significant than that.
"To become an animagus," McGonagall said as we sat in her classroom eating shortbread."is a very useful yet dangerous thing."
I nodded.
"Now, members of your family have been known to have more than one animagus," she stated, and I shot up in my seat. "You may possibly have this gene."
Me? A multianimagi?
Awesome!
"It will take you at least a month to complete your first form, which I believe will be in time for your birthday."
She promptly turned into a cat and back.
I wished for the day when I could do that as professionally as her.... Although maybe not as old.... Heh.
"Now, I want you to breathe in, then out, then in, then out."
================
Later that day I was due to have potions with Snape, but was directed instead to the great hall, where the sixth years were having their apparating lessons.
I looked around and Dumbledore was behind me, he cast a quick spell.
I looked down at him, shocked, I looked at my hands, they were huge.
He had turned me into a sixteen year old, boy version of myself, yay.
He motioned for me to stand by a hula hoop, next to Flint, a quidditch captain, and Patrick, the prefect.
Blimy, I was bigger than them both.
The lesson went ok, and I was soon able to pop into the hoop, I got splinched on my first (almost) successful go, but my leg was once again reunited with my foot, but not after I thanked Gregsy's hat god that I was silent, because I don't think a girls scream would match with this hulk of a body.
I decided that I was going to name it Hulk, just for the fun of it.
Dumbly said that I could activate Hulk by pressing a small scar on my waist, it was a simple square, and I was so tempted to frighten Ronald with it, it was unreal.
He loved the spider I sent him, by the way, it followed him around for weeks until he squashed it with his potions book.... Severus wasn't pleased.
Hulk was invited onto the quidditch team, as keeper, I think Oliver Wood was slightly scared of me when I was introduced.
I loved being keeper, and Hulk's hands were as big as the quaffle.
But the best bit about it was having Hulk's liking of black coffee, eaurgh!
