5: Homeroom

Emily POV

"Okay this is our homeroom!" Jane said. "You can sit right next to me. Mr.Pikes doesn't have a seating chart even though half the school year pass by already." she said.

"Thanks for letting me know!" I said as I eyed the room trying to memorize it without notice with the side of my eyes.

I walk up to Mr.Pikes handing him my schedule for him to sign. He looked like he was in his late twenties. 

He had eyes that catches the light with his dimple smile. As he took my schedule he look up and gave me a smile.

There was a sort of glint in his eyes as he smiled at me.

"So your new huh? It's great to have a new face here." he happily told me. "Welcome to Pacido High School! Take a seat anywhere you want while I get you situated in this class!"

"Thank you." I said. I felt as if something was off when he smiled at me but shook it off to not make me feel so tense.

I walked away towards the open desk next to Jane who was waving like a flopping fish out of water. I started laughing at her like a maniac while she was telling everyone around her that I was new and was the new captain of the cheer team.

"You guys this is Emily! Please be nice to her cause she is new and the sweetest person on earth!" she said. 

"Oh and don't forget to introduce yourself to her because she needs a date for the spring festival!" she yelled out really fast.

I was laughing at her as she was trying to introduce me. Than all of a sudden I stiffen up too late to notice what she said. I slowly turn towards her. My eyes started to bulge out as I was freaking out.

"What are you doing? What date? I never asked for one!" I whispered to her as I grabbed her arms.

She started to laugh at me. "Just watch this. I loved messing with them. The guys are going to come rushing like a dog for a treat! and you do need a date for being the new captain after Mersi was kicked out."

"I don't need a date. I just barely-"

"Just wait, I give you three second before they start running to you and I'll being laughing at you telling you so. One, two, three..."

All of a sudden I was crowded with football players in their jersey and some basketball players. "Hi-" "John Can-" "Are you mine because you just fell from the sky into my arms.." "Be mine-"

I was starting to freak out with all of this overwhelming sensation than all of sudden I broke down and started to laugh like crazy. I couldn't believe she was right.

"Hi guys. As you just found out i'm Emily and uh it's nice to meet you guys!"

"No thank you!"

I left the group to join Jane and started to laugh with her. "You are a cruel awesome new friend!" I told her as we looked at the group of guys.

"Stick with me and you can learn how to have fun the J way." She started to wave at them and they all got sappy. We laugh even harder.

Unknown POV

As I was watching her I was fascinated. She left and went to that girl Jane something. She didn't know I was watching her every move. 

There was something that had caught my eyes when she first walk in. I couldn't put my fingers on it but knew it was something special.

Her laugh was catching me and sending vibration through my body. I closed my eyes to not show that she had affected me.

I knew she was the one. The one who I have been looking for. Hopefully she won't disappoint like all the other girls.

I decided to keep a closer watch on her to make sure she is. All I had to do was just to get little closer to her and then go with the plan...
