8:Too Hot

"I'm homeee!"

Everything was so quiet around the house. All the lights were off but I could see that my lights were on in my bedroom. I knew that I turned off my lights before I left for school.

I slowly open the front door and my senses were alerted. I saw the wooden stick in the bucket by the closet. I reach for it and slowly check out the surrounding.

There was no sound except for my footstep. I didn't understand what was going on. My parents was suppose to be home.

I checked the living rooms, the kitchen, the pantry and the closets but nothing was out of the ordinary.

I walk up the stairs to the second floor. I finally made it to the top. As I checked the room closest to me I pulled out my phone and turned it on.

I forgot that I had it. My phone was turned off since it was a distraction while I was at practice.

It took a while for it to come back to life after a long nap. As the light came on I saw that I got a voicemail and a couple of message from my parents and brother.

voicemail:

"Hey honey just letting you know that we went to go see Lindy! She just gave birth to a baby boy! Let us know when you get home safely bye!"

Wow  gees thanks for waiting for me. I left a voicemail saying that I will come and meet they at the hospital.

After the voicemail I check my message and saw that my brothers also left some messages saying that they also went to go visit my cousin and the last one was from Jake whose message goes like this,

"BTW we left your lights on for you! LOL TTYL KK!"

Oh my god I can't believe it! I reply back,

"Doofus do you not know how to speak and write properly? You need to back to Pre-K to learn how to write. Why did they even let you graduation at grad school. Oh wait I know! They wanted to get rid of a problem so that's why you graduated early!"

I knew they decided to do it on purpose to get on my nerves. I decided for a little revenge when they came back from the hospital.

Now I know there was no need for me to being alert. The maids leave around two everyday. It was always a tradition for us to cook for dinner and not the maid.

We weren't those typical families where they have to cook and clean everything. My family all helps out with the cleaning and cooking and the maids always joins us when we eat except dinner.

They go back to their families. My parents believe that we should all learn how to take care of our self no matter who is there for us.

I walked back out of the room and head towards my bedroom. I decided to take a shower before heading out to the hospital to visit my cousin. A nice cold bath sounds so good right now.

I open the door and the first thing I notice was a bouquet of white roses sitting on top of my dressers. I went up and saw that my maid left a note with the roses,

"Here Em! This beautiful flower was delivered around 3. The delivery man said that it was from a young man called Mr. Mccoy. Who could be so special that they caught your eyes? *wink wink* Love you."

I rolled my eyes because I could imagine her eyebrows wiggling at me tomorrow.

I looked at the roses and was in awe with it. White roses was my favorite flowers.

How did he know that they were my favorite flowers? I thought. No one knows unless you were family.

I didn't give it a second thought and gave it another sniff before heading to take my bath. After I was done I came back to look at the flowers again.

This time I notice a note hidden in the flowers.

"I hope you like flowers. They reminded me of me when i'm looking in the mirror so I thought they would make great piece offering. See you tomorrow!"-Daren

Ahh I can't believe him! At first I thought it was sweet that we wanted a piece offering but he ruined it. Did I ever mention that he was cocky as hell!?!

I toss the note in the trash and left the roses alone. I couldn't throw them away because they were so beautiful.

I grabbed my car keys and purse and left to go to the hospital. I was going to give him a piece of my mind but that will have to wait for later because first I had to go take care of my brothers first.

Just want to say thx you for reading this! I have 4 days of school left and finals on the last two days. I will try to update as much as I can and summer is approaching and I will be busy. I will update as much as I can b/c I can't leave you hanging. I'll let you guys know if something comes up and thx again!
