It was a regular Saturday morning for you. You woke up and texted Eren, put on a cute outfit, and started running errands. You usually did things like that on Sundays, but seeing as you were meant to be going dress shopping with Eren's family that day, you moved your schedule around.

After stopping by campus to print out some assignments, you made your way to a nearby café where you were supposed to be meeting up with Historia for a partner project in your nutrition class.

"Hey," you sing-songed as you walked up to the booth she sat in, "Good morning."

"Good morning, y/n!" she replied, standing to give you a hug. She had ordered a few pastries and tea for the table while she waited, so you sat down and began making small talk before starting on your work.

While the two of you weren't exceptionally close, you were definitely good friends and you were glad that she was your assigned partner. She was on time, gave good ideas, and actually split the work unlike partners you'd had in the past.

About an hour and a half into you working, a figure approached the table. "Hey, Historia."

The two of you looked up to see a red haired guy grinning down at your table. You'd spent enough time with Historia to discern that she was annoyed, but she gave the unknown man a smile anyways. "Hey, Floch..."

"I really haven't seen you in forever? How's your sister?" he babbled on with rapid fire questions that Historia answered with curt answers, the strained smile on her face growing even more so.

After thoroughly annoying her, he turned to you. You had since began tuning him out and typing away at your slides, but he still managed to pull you into the conversation.

"I know you! [Name], right?"

You tried to stop your eye from twitching at the blatant mispronunciation of your name, "It's y/n, actually."
