01 • how it works + rules •

First, you read through the rules and make sure you follow them all. I'll be checking.

Second, you go through the list of reviewers we have for you. Each reviewer will have their own chapter, explaining the kind of genres they like to read, genres they want to avoid and such things like that.

• pick a reviewer that best matches what you're going for. For example, don't pick a reviewer that wants to avoid fan fiction when your book is clearly fan fiction.

• make sure that the reviewer you want is open. Each reviewer will have a status at the very top of their chapter. If it says Closed For Catch-Up [CFCU], then wait until they're free again before selecting them in your form.

• the same thing goes if it says [HIATUS]. Don't worry, we'll inform you if the reviewer you want to select gets open again.

Third, fill out the form neatly on the right chapter. Make sure to tag the reviewer you want so they can see your form too.

• remember that a reviewer has the right to decline your form if your book doesn't match up to what they're comfortable with.

• each reviewer will have a waitlist.

• if you do get declined, you can always try out for another reviewer. If you get accepted, wait patiently for your review.

Here comes the rules.

➹ you can not submit the same book to more than one different reviewer, however, you can submit as many books as you want to the same reviewer (if they're open).

• to explain further, you can't ask two (or more) different reviewers to review the same book. However, you're free to submit as many books as you want to the same (or different) reviewer, only if they're open.

➹ please be patient. Do not pester these reviewers all the time as they have a life.

• however, if your review is taking way too long, shoot this account a private message.

➹ add this review shop book to your reading list and library, so you can be notified when your review is ready and posted.

• you're free to choose whether you want your review to be private or public.

• private reviews will be pm'd to you. Public reviews will be posted in this book.

➹ give this review shop a shout out. Anywhere is fine, just as long as people see it (ie. your message board or book).

➹ password is your favorite author.

➹ reviewers will have their own payments. Please make sure to complete them after you're accepted, otherwise, your book will not be reviewed. We say after you're accepted because we can't be sure your form will get accepted, and it'll be a real shame if you've already completed the payments yet your form got declined or ignored.
