Nurse sharks are a common inshore bottom- dwelling shark. They are found in tropical and subtropical waters. The nurse shark is usually found in depths of one meter or less.
Adult nurse sharks can reach a length of 4.3 meters (14 feet) and a weight of 330 kg (730 lb). Nurse sharks have two rounded dorsal fins, two rounded pectoral fins, an elongated caudal fin, and a broad head. Nurse sharks are a brownish color.
A nurse shark's diet consist primarily of crustaceans, molluscs, tunicates, sea snakes, and other fish, in particular stingrays.---------------------------------------------
The sharks I have talked about are big. Some were gentle sharks, others are active sometimes dangerous sharks, and a type of bottom- dwellers. Later on you will be able to read about smaller sharks.
