The Frozen Past

Chapter 16: Anna

Anna!!! I hear my sister scream as I fall into the gorge.

As I fall, wondering what would happen if I hit the bottom, I think about that shock from under my feet. If I concentrate on my feet, maybe something would happen. I concentrate as hard as I can as I fall into the gorge. Nothing happens. I concentrate harder, and my gauntlet glows bright enough for me to see the bottom of the gorge. I concentrate harder and harder. My feet start to feel warm.

I'm about to hit the snowy ground. Only a few feet away.

I remember falling down in a situation like this. I was saved by a thick layer of fresh snow powder. I wonder if it would be the same if I don't make it. But I won't risk it!

I concentrate on my feet once more. A big blast of flame instantly pushes me upwards! Now I even have rocket shoes? I steady myself so I don't lose balance and start flying up towards the surface. I zoomed up and went right past Elsa(Future). I try to land on my feet, but I end up losing my balance and I fall on my side. I should really work on my landing.

I lie on my back and spread my arms in the snow, breathing heavily.

"Anna?" I hear Elsa(Future) say "What just happened? How did you..?" she stops and looks at my shoes "How did your..?"

"The glow up there in the ice palace." I reply "I don't exactly know how it happened, but..." I sit up and see that my shoes were steaming from the flames "It's a long story."

"Yeah, I think I know. But we have to go. Hans and the guards just left with Queen Elsa." Elsa(Future) says as she grabs the pocket watch "Back to the castle."

I come closer to Elsa(Future) as she pushes the button.

As expected, we teleport right in front of the castle gates. And by right in front, I mean my face is about to hit the door.

I step back and look behind me and see the kingdom of Arendelle (sur name, once again) really frozen, you would definitely forget that it was suppose to be summer time.

"Are we suppose to go in?" Elsa asks.

"We're not suppose to be seen." I say "Especially you. They might think Queen Elsa came back or something."

"But we should go in because the watch lead us right in front of the gates."

"But how?"

We were interrupted by something coming closer—a reindeer. It was Sven with Kristoff and Princess Anna!

"We've better move." I say.

"What?" Elsa(Future) says.

"They might know us, but we can't let other people see us." I say as I jumped off the bridge. I land on my feet in the frozen solid water.

I see Elsa(Future) look at me from the bridge. She stands on the wall and creates a big pile of snow right next to me. I look back up and she jumps off the wall, landing right in the pile she made.

"Now how do we get in?" Elsa(Future) says as she stands up from the snow pile.

"I'm not sure." I say "The watch?"

"But we have to go different ways to be with both of them."

"Not me, you use the watch."

Elsa's eyes widen "What about you?"

I lift one of my shoes "I've got these."

"But where are you gonna go?"

"Where Princess Anna's gonna be." I say "This time, we follow ourselves."
