I have not given up on this, it will continue.
I have decided to make this into tree seperate books instead of trying to shove everything thing into one thing, I will rewrite the previous chapters and hopefully get it started soon.
The first book would consist of Izuku's childhood, I plan to fill it up with a ton of fluff and maybe some angst, it's inevitable (but not too much, no one is going to die in the first book, I think) I'll try to make it a stand alone but it'll mostly act as background info if anybody gets too confused.
The second book is going to be pretty angsty as Izuku goes through school with a new mindset and tries to keep themselves stable.
The third book is still not yet determined but should eventually give way to what it will be I won't be saying much cause it will spoil the second book.
Sorry I haven't updated, I had quite a bit of stuff irl to take care of and it has been a pain trying to keep up with it but I should be able to settle soon.
