Vaishnavi POV
1 week later
We've been here for about a week now ...I miss everyone back home but I am not sad anymore plus I get to learn so much here. Every day is like a new adventure. Welp is you have a friend like Aishu it's kinda really difficult to sit and mop around....its impossible not to laugh at her goofiness.
"Vaishuuuu! Where are you come on its time for sword fighting" I heard Aishu scream in front of me. This stupid girl can't she look around before screaming
"Am standing right behind you, you dumbo" I retorted
"oh... HI"
I facepalmed myself "will you please look around first before you first before start screaming your head off"
"hehe..nevah" she replied
I rolled my eyes at her "come on let's go before Gurudev gets mad at us"
When we reached the training ground, we got in our stance ready to fight
now there soo many rules about sword fighting that I don't even remember half of them, but I am pretty happy with my made-up one 'look damn good even if you know nothing.....cuz it's super cool'
I am proud to say that I have gotten some sense of how to fight properly, unfortunately, I can't say the same for Meghna...if that girl doesn't get the hang of it soon she's going to skewer me alive with all her stupid fencing moves.
Before we started I kept repeating the two actual rules I remembered....don't underestimate your opponent, find their weakness and strike at the right moment and so we began.
We were doing great, the sword finally started feeling familiar to me and my strikes were better than before but of course, this maharani has to add her fencing moves to this.
"Dude we've been doing this for a WEEK you gotta stop fencing!"
"I am trying Malu ...but I still can't figure it out"
then we were bickering back and forth for a while before Gurudev stopped us and gave us a lecture on how self-discipline is a warrior's most important trait
He then gave us more pointers on our stance and we continued on till Mata Arundhati called us for lunch.
After lunch, we started with our chores like drawing water from the well, gathering wood, working in the fields, cleaning the house, watering ankurah and the other plants etc.
I had never lived such a simple life until now even though we did do chores in the 21st century they weren't this hard. It was a nice change for me though...I learned a lot of things and it made me even more grateful for all the things God blessed me with not that I was a snob before this.
I was enjoying my life to the fullest and learning a lot of things not a day goes by where I don't learn something new from Gurudev.
