Connor had been chained up tightly to a considerable slab of wood, with his wrists and angles restricted. Klaus smirked slightly, feeling another presence, "Looks like I'll have to beef up the hybrid security detail."Stefan stumbled into the room, landing on his back, groaning from the impact of the wooden floor, after Astrid had harshly pushed him. "Nik, your hybrids are...useless, in a word." The brunette teased, as she pushed down her heel onto Stefan's chest, keeping him in the floor.
"You complain about our wicked acts, and yet you and all of your friends lack common courtesy. You all sneak around our home. Where is your reasoning, Stefan?"
Stefan glared at Astrid before his hateful gaze slightly faltered as he looked over at Klaus. "I was gonna take him, but I figured you went through such trouble to truss him up in your red room of pain." He smirked bitterly, nodding his head to Connor.
Klaus was proud of this comment, smirking at him. "It's from the Inquisition. We thought it was a nice touch." He walked closer amusedly, the scene before him entertaining his whim. "You can let him go, my love."
Astrid frowned in false disappointment, sighing. "Fine." She pushed down harsher than before, releasing her hold keeping Stefan down.
Stefan quickly stood up, brushing his jacket, glaring over at her, but his eyes held curiosity. "What'd you get out of him?"
"Not nearly enough. He's not said a word about the Council Fire and also keeping quiet about this greater evil we're all supposed to be cowering from." Astrid said, rolling her eyes at Connor's unwillingness to speak up.
"What brings you snooping?" Klaus raised an eyebrow at the younger brother.
"Well, I can't say it in front of him." Stefan crossed his arms, scowling over at the hunter. "As I'm sure you've figured out, our friend here can't be compelled."
Klaus leaned closer to Connor, his expression blank. "You're full of mysteries, aren't you?"
"I told you I don't know anything!" Connor argued, being truthful about his lack of awareness towards his own history.
"Thankfully, we know plenty." Klaus remarked, grabbing Astrid's hand, walking out of the room, while the brunette reluctantly gestured for Stefan to follow them. Astrid's heels clicked across the floor.
Stefan started at the hunter for a few moments before deciding to follow the couple. Klaus shut the doors to the room and turned to face Stefan. "So, what's with the home invasion?"
"Damon mentioned that Astrid seemed to know something about this guy. Now, I should have figured out that you were up to something when you healed Elena from the werewolf poison without asking for anything in return." Stefan concluded his reason with an expression, implying that he suspected the couple of something sinister.
Klaus gestured with his hands, smirking. "I was feeling benevolent."
Stefan argued with him. "You're never benevolent." He glared at Klaus. "Who is this guy? What's The Five?"
"So many questions." Klaus mused, looking over at Astrid, who continued Klaus' thoughts.
"If we decided to give them to you, then you'll get your wish." Astrid smirked, knowing that she could have fun with this, if need be.
"It's a good thing I have nothing to do today, except get answers out of you two." Stefan sat down, staring up at them.
"Oh, Yes. Please make yourself comfortable." Astrid spoke in a mocking tone, rolling her eyes at Stefan.
Klaus thought over the positive and negative outcomes of letting Stefan in on the incident in Italy that happened 900 years ago. In actual fact, it could be great fun rather than harmful to him.
