Astrid sat on the floor, staring blankly at her brother's burnt corpse. Klaus had the exact same expression, neither knowing what to say to comfort the other.Astrid seemed to come to a realisation of a possible way out. "This is idiotic. How did I not think of this sooner?"
Klaus turned around. "What do you mean?" Astrid stood up. "We may not to be able to walk out of here, but I might be able to use apparition. It's worth a try."
Klaus agreed with the idea, grabbing onto her hand.
"Where are we thinking of going?" Klaus asked her."Not too far. I don't want to risk it. Is the front porch good enough?" She asked, not wanting either of them to splinch, even with the advantage of supernatural healing.
"I have no problem with it. We need to get out of here." Klaus replied dully, grabbing her hand.
Astrid thought vividly of the apparition process, but found herself alone outside of the Gilbert home. "Fuck. This is very unfortunate...And now I'm talking to myself."
She pushed open the door and looked at Klaus still stuck in the living room. "I'm sorry, my love."
Astrid sped away, leaving Klaus trapped inside, no hope of getting out.
The Original was back in under five minutes, rolling her eyes at the glare being shot her way. "Nik..."
"You left me." He scowled at her angrily. "I did not leave you. I left for two minutes. If I was still stuck in there like you, the Lockwood and his girlfriend would have succeeded in stealing from us." She held up a tarp, which was shaped oddly due to the object it concealed. "If I had truly left you, I would not have returned. But, I did. With Alexander's Sword." The brunette stated pointedly, holding the sword out towards him.
She took multiple steps until she reached Kol's dead, charred body, staring down at it in silent misery. "I assume that now you are free, you have a plan to avenge Kol?"
She looked to her husband, smirking. "I do! No one else knows that I am free from the trap that their witch has set. They can only imagine my revenge plans. This will not go without consequence. That's two of your brothers they've killed now."
"You hated them all regardless of the fact." Klaus said knowingly.
"That's been obvious since the first interaction. What would you like me to do about his body?" Astrid replied, staring at her brother-in-law's body with glossy eyes.
"Leave him. It provokes my anger." Klaus answered, gritting his teeth together.
As the door handle turned, Astrid sped to the upstairs floor just as Tyler walked in with a satisfied smirk. "Morning, sunshine. You look pathetic."
Klaus narrowed his eyes. "Only until Bonnie's spell locking me in here wears off. Then I'll look different. Angrier, perhaps. Or I won't look like anything because I'll have gouged your eyeballs from their sockets." He threatened dangerously.
Tyler grinned, beginning to mock him. "My friends will be back with the cure by then. So, I could shove it down your throat and make you mortal."
Klaus laughed at the thought, smirking. "I'm an Original. What makes you think my entire vampire bloodline won't be cured along with me? I.E: you."
Tyler shook his head in disagreement. "You know what I think? I think that's impossible. I think the moment you stop being a vampire, our whole blood connection to you is broken, and your sireline ceases to exist." The hybrid happily explained, shrugging his shoulders. " So whatever happens to you, happens to only you, which means I can kill your ass and no one else has to die. Although I am still debating just how to do it."
