Robert

Beckett was demoted from Captain for sleeping with a subordinate.

I knew it had to be Vic since Andy don't count.

And especially since she's Captain over at 23.

I guess Pruitt was right about Andy's future when I doubted her.

Maya and me were just talking near the Balcony.

"Engine 19, Ladder 19, Aid Car 19. Storage Unit."

"Oh, I'm not doing another storage unit fire." Gibson muttered.

Beckett was staying behind.

We got geared up.

It was Maya, Montgomery, Miller, Gibson, Captain Sanchez, and me.

Maya, Miller, and me got in Engine 19.

Montgomery, Gibson, and Captain Sanchez got in Ladder 19.

Warren was in Aid Car 19.

Avery had the PRT.

Maya drove to the storage unit.

It was the same one we got trapped in.

"Oh, hell no." Gibson commented.

"Captain Richie Sanchez. Station 19."

"Captain Andrea Herrera. Station 23."

Andy's voice was muffled because of her mask.

She had it on since smoke was escaping from the building.

"Andre?"

"Andrea."

"You're Captain Herrera's daughter."

"Everybody calls me "Andy," "Herrera," or "Captain." Captain Herrera was the only one who called me "Andrea."

"Andy it is. You can call me "Richie."

"And you can stop hitting on Sullivan's Wife in front of him."

"Then shouldn't your hyphenated name be on your firefighter jacket?"

"I didn't hyphenate my name."

"Your last name is just "Herrera?"

"Mm-hmm. Since the day I was born. I never understand a woman's fascination with changing their last name when they get married."

"Some of them don't have a Heroic father like you."

"And that wouldn't be the least bit confusing. Call "Sullivan" and get both of us."

"Cap, this fire ain't going down."

Andy had backed herself up against the doorway.

She threw herself through the air.

"Whoa!" Maya commented when she landed on the roof across the street.

"Whoa."

Lawrence

"Copy that. We're moving positions. What's... Hey. Someone's on the roof. A female. Around 30."

"Damn it, Little Herrera. Hot-headed probie." I commented.

Robert

"How'd Herrera even get up there?" McCallister questioned.

"She's a monkey, apparently."

Andy wielded an axe.

"If you hit that roof, you lose any chance at being Battalion Chief."

"Pruitt said it himself to me. One day, you could be Battalion Chief. You have the smarts, Andrea Herrera. "One day, Andrea will be Battalion Chief."
