Riley's POV
"We can go now righttt?"I said in a excited voice.
"Yeah we can go, I just need to tell my mom we're going to the Christmas carnival, I didn't tell her we were"going sav said.
Ik I forgot to mention it was a Christmas carnival but it is-
"Ohh okay!"
Sav took my arm gently and we walked out of the room.
"Im gonna leave you by the door ok?I'm gonna go let my mom know about the carnival is that fine?"sav said calmly.
"Yeah that's fine"
I heard sav walk away.
A few seconds later I heard talking, but I couldn't understand what was being said.
"No mom it's not!"sav said walking back to Me.
"What's going on?"I said in a curious voice.
"Nothing.just my mom being dumb again"
"Your mom isn't dumb!i love her!
It's Saturday btw the day Riley went over was a Friday
"Yeah I know"Sav said annoyed.
I heard the door open, and I felt sav grab my hand.
"Step down slowly"sav said calmly While still holding my hand.
I stepped down slowly so I didn't fall.
We started walking down the side walk to the driveway.
5 minutes later
It was kinda awkward so I started to hum to break the awkward silence, and then sav started to hum also.
The tune we were making was beautiful and very calming.
We hummed for what I'm guessing 10 minutes.
"So what do you wanna ride while we're there?" Sav asked curiously.
"Hmmm I heard the Ferris wheels are pretty fun, I've never been on one so maybe the Ferris wheel!"I said excitedly
"Yeah sure! Im gonna play a lot of those games you can get prizes if you win. I know they're rigged with all kind of stupid things, like workers sometimes have to carry around the prizes so people will play the games. they're actually really fun and challenging so I don't mind it too much."
"That's stupid they rig the games like that it wastes money so don't play too much ok?"
"Yeah I won't I'll only play like 10"sav said reassuring me
