It's been a few days since Tay has came to the circus, and it's already been very homey.
Tay was walking down a path holding a couple of boxes with props in them. She happily skipped into her destined room and set down the box, "Gray! I got the wHAA-" she barely called out when she was pulled into a separate room. Her face met with Lark's.
"Lark?? Wha-"
"Shhh"
Lark put a finger to Tay's lips, "I wanna show you something" He said. Tay stared, confused.
Lark grasped Tay's hand and led her to wherever Lark was planning on taking her. They came into the storage room and Lark pulled on one of the props. The ground beneath Tay started rumbling and was opening, Tay gasped and fell back as to not fall into the hole that had just emerged. "What the-" Tay was intimidated. Lark smiled at her and took her hand once again. They both descended into the secret passage way. They soon came across a small room with a mattress in the corner and a single tv against the wall, papers with drawings and doodles all over them were scattered on the floor and there were posters all on the walls around the room. Tay examined the room carefully, "Lark? What is this room?" Lark leaned against the wall and looked at Tay, "I'm surprised that I haven't shown you before, this is my room... where I sleep and all that" Lark stepped close to Tay, "but this isn't everything I wanted to show you" He smirked. He grabbed Tay's hand, "don't let go, ok?" Tay looked puzzled for a moment until Lark leaped towards the tv, Tay's eyes widened and they went into the tv.

...
.....
...

They both hopped out of the tv but in a completely different area. Still holding Lark's hand, Tay stumbled around for a second, she was extremely dizzy. Lark looked at her, "heh, the first time is always nauseating but you get used to it the more you do it" he chuckled, helping her straighten herself. "What the... the heck was that" she stuttered. "We traveled through my tv, yeah I'm kinda good at that- it's my special talent" he flaunted. Tay looked at him with her sparkly eyes, "w-wow!"
Lark led Tay through this other area, everything almost seemed too perfect, like they were in a video game.
"нєу ℓαяк!" Someone shouted from a far distance. Lark looked up, "ah Milo!" Tay and Lark came closer to the person.
"Haven't seen ya in a week bud, how ya holdin' up?" Lark said.
"σн у'кησω, тнє υѕυαℓ. нєу ι тнσυgнт уσυ ωєяє ѕυρρσѕє∂ тσ ¢σмє нєяє ιη тωσ ∂αуѕ, ωну αяє уσυ ѕσ єαяℓу?"
"We'll I brought a new friend along, thought I'd show them this place" Lark gestured towards Tay. "This is Tay"
"ωну, нєℓℓσ тαу му ηαмє ιѕ мιℓσ ιт'ѕ α ρℓєαѕυяє тσ мєєт уσυ" Milo reached for a handshake. Tay shook their hand, "nice to meet you too!" She smiled.
Lark led Tay to a little building, it looked like a shop, a mechanic shop even. "Here's what I wanted to show you" Lark presented the workshop. Tay observed it excitedly, "OH! It's so cool!" She darted into the shop and started looking at all the cool gadgets and trinkets. Tay was fiddling around with some of the trinkets when one of the gadgets leaped up at her and Tay shrieked, falling backwards. Lark jumped in and caught his gadget. He chuckled, "phew, X-Reaper that's not how we treat our new guest" Lark set the gadget on his shelf and turned to Tay to help her up, "Sorry about that they can be hostile to new people", "what are those things" Tay asked. "Oh, I call them bytes! I made them myself, they're supposed to help you in battles" He explained.
"You made them?!" Tay exclaimed.
Lark nodded, "yep! Made by my own hands" he smiled
Tay went to hold one of them in her hands, she started tinkering with it.
"Uhh... whatcha doing...? I advise not to touch them- uh some of them are kind of dangerous" Lark stepped toward Tay. Tay span around and showed him the byte, it looks like she upgraded it. She was smiling, "these are so well made! All the little gears and everything, I wanted to see!" Lark stared at it his mouth agape, "wow- I'm impressed, sweets" he took the byte in his hands, "you upgraded its strength and mobility- you could maybe actually help me out here in the shop"
"REALLY?! ID LOVE TO!!!" Tay bounced up and down, flapping her hands.
Someone walked into the shop, "Milo have you seen-" they looked up, "Lark?? You aren't supposed to be here until Friday what are you doing here?" The red person asked. "Oh hello Red, I'm just showing the newbie around" Lark once again gestured toward Tay. Tay waved. "Tay... hm? Hello..." Red looked around awkwardly, "яє∂ ∂ι∂ уσυ ηєє∂ тнιѕ?" Milo appeared behind him, "oh yes that's it, thank you Milo" Red left the shop and Milo followed behind.
"They're gonna have to get used to you workin in the shop" Lark ruffled Tay's hair. "Thank you for inviting me to work with you!! I'll be a great employee!" Tay said. "Ahhh it's nothin, hun. We might wanna start heading out though, I don't want Gray to worry about us bein gone for too long" Lark stood up. Tay nodded and set down the trinket she was messing with and followed Lark back to the tv.

They came back to the circus and Lark closed up his room, "that's really all the secrets I have to me" he joked. "Hey, we haven't discussed anything about you, I wanna know more about you" he smiled. Tay hesitated to speak for a moment, Lark looked at her, "uhh... I have a question, why did you decide to live here? I'm sure you have a home and family waiting for you?" He said. "Oh... well... I do have a sister..." Tay said quietly, "really? I have a brother" Lark smiled. "Doesn't she miss you?" Tay scratched her hand, "well... I... I guess she does doesn't she...?"
"...you don't have to talk about it, I was just wondering" Lark said trying not to make Tay uncomfortable.
Tay laughed a little. "No no it's okay, but maybe I ca-" she sniffed, and attempted not to break down crying, "maybe I can tell you another day" she started sobbing into Lark's jacket. Lark slowly hugged her back, comforting her.
She sniffed, "s-sorry..."
"No need to apologize, dear" he hugged her tighter. "Maybe another time..."
Tay wiped her eyes and nose, "I don't want to talk about my sister right now... it just hurts me to think about her..." she sniffed. "Maybe I'll be able to find her soon..."
Lark looked into Tay's eyes and laid his hands on her shoulders, "you know... you can ask me for help with anything, if you want to find her I'll do anything to help, okay sweets?"
Tay slowly nodded, "you're a great friend, Lark... I've never had a friend like you... except for... my... sister..."
Lark embraced her in a hug again.

"Will you really help me find her...? I have something really important to tell her..."

"Of course, hun, I will do anything"

"...thank you..."
