Alison's POV

<One Week Later, Monday>

It's already been a week since I spotted that new girl and so far I haven't been able to get any info on her, not even her name.

I didn't want to pounce on her right away since the girl looks deathly afraid of everyone. What's her deal anyway? I bet she has a juicy secret, and I intend to find out what that is.

If there's one thing I enjoy, it's using people's weaknesses against them until they can't take it anymore. Some more then others. Twisted I know, but that's just the way I was raised. Plus, it's also entertaining for me as well.

Since I didn't have any classes or even lunch with her, I had a little talk with the nerd that runs the attendance office to have him switch some of her classes to match mine last Friday. Of course I made sure not to make them all the same, that would be way too obvious. And Alison DiLaurentis doesn't do obvious.

And today was finally the day that I would make this girl crack. Thankfully when it came to history, the teacher made us work with a partner for a presentation we have to give next Friday. Everyone knows I get first pick, so of course I'm going to pick the newbie.

"I guess we're partners for the next 2 weeks" I say as I sit down beside her. The look on this girls face was priceless. So obviously I couldn't help but grin.

"Y-y-yea o-ok" she stuttered.

"Honey, do you always stutter like that? Because if you do then that's going to be a problem"

"S-s-so-rry" she replies looking down at her desk. Man this is way too easy.

"You don't have to be scared. I'm not gonna bite. Unless you're into that kinda stuff?" I reply back with a smirk. I even thought she was going to faint from the look she gave me for a moment there.

"So your place or mine?" I asked after a long painful silence.

"What?" she finally says shooting her head towards me. Why did she respond so quickly to that?

"Duh! You know so we can work on our project. You wanna go to my house or yours?"

"Yours!" she practically yells. Okay that was odd. Even for this weird girl. What the hell is she hiding?

"Okay. Give me your phone then" I say sticking my hand out to her.

"W-what why?" she asks scared.

"So I can get your number to text you my address. What'd you think I was gonna do? Look through your stuff or something?" I ask giving her a look.

"N-n-nothing" she stutters again. Ugh what the fucks wrong with this girl. Can't she speak?

"Sweetie you really have to work on that stuttering" I say giving her a blank look.

She doesn't say anything except smile back. I usually would of made fun or done something worse, but that smile made me feel weird. It was like I couldn't be mean to her. But the question was why?

That whole rest of that day at school I couldn't get that girl out of my mind. It wasn't until I got home that I realized I never got her name. Shit! That was supposed to be the first thing I ask her. How could I have forgotten that! Oh yeah that's right, her hypnotizing smile and cute stutter.

Oh well, I'll just shoot her a text and ask her her name.

To mystery girl: Hey history partner ready to come over today?

From mystery girl: Yeah sure

To mystery girl: btw what's your name again?

From mystery girl: Emily

That's when I take a couple minutes and change her name in my contacts list. I even put a little heart emoji next to her name. Why the hell did I do that? Oh whatever who cares. It's not like anyone will ever see it anyways.

To Emily: Ok. Just come over whenever

After that I didn't receive anything back. It took almost an hour before I heard her knocking at the front door. She even changed into baggier clothes. Too bad, I really liked the skirt and tight shirt she was wearing earlier.

Throughout the whole study session I couldn't help but stare at her. Even in oversized clothing, she still looked hot! But why? It doesn't make sense. I'm not even gay for Christ sake!

I also noticed that she had her bag on her lap covering her belly the entire time. I mean wouldn't that get uncomfortable at some point? Unless, what if she's pregnant? Was that what she was hiding?

No that sounds ridiculous. She's so shy and timid, I doubt she would ever go that far with any guy. And she didn't even look it, her stomach was as flat as as the floor.

"Um A-Ali?" I hear her barely speak up above a whisper, but just enough to break me out of my many thoughts.

"Yeah Em?" I ask. Why did I just say that? But the way she smiled at me, I couldn't help but not care.

"What time do you want to meet up tomorrow?" Emily asks in the most sweetest voice I've ever heard.

"Whenever you want" I respond. Ugh! Stupid me!

"Is the same time okay?" I hear her ask with a smile.

"Y-yeah uh s-sure" Why did I just stutter? I never stutter.

"Look who's stuttering now" she says now smirking at me. What just happened? When did the tables get turned on me?

I should probably be furious at this but oddly enough, I'm liking it.

"Okay. Well today's been good. I'll see you again tomorrow?" she says breaking me out of my thoughts, again.

"Yeah sure" I say all too quickly. Well so much for not being obvious.

As I walk her to the front door, she leans in to give me a tight hug. I couldn't help but love her sweet lavender and jasmine scent or her super soft skin and luscious hair as it lightly brushed against my cheek.

"Night Ali" she finally says as she walks down the front porch to her car.

"Goodnight Em" I responded right before she got into her car.

That whole night i couldn't get Emily out of my mind. She was different that's for sure, I just couldn't quite put my finger on it.

Whatever it was, I just knew I no longer wanted to harm her. I just wanted to get closer to her. The reason as to why, was still unclear because obviously I wasn't gay. But after today, maybe I can make an exception for her.

Maybe.
