I woke up to her laying on me with her hair all in my face. I kissed her neck and she moved a little bit and held me tighter. Baby I gotta go i whispered to her. She stretched her fat ass up and laid back on me.

"I don't want you to go" she mumbled. I laughed at her little morning voice and laid there for a couple of more mins.

I gently slided her body to her pillow. She stretched her right leg up and the way her body looked mh God ! Had me just standing there examine her body like I wanted it again.

I went to the bathroom brushed my teeth , took a nice hot shower and got dressed. I had to do a little more research on this guy. I called Khalil and he said he was already searching up more information.

That's why I loved this kid he stayed up on his information. Ight bet I'm coming in like 10 minutes Khalil. "Yes Sir". I peeked in Nalas room one more time and locked the doors behind me.

*2 Hours Later*

After waking up stretched out in my bed. Tisha and I went out to eat and Miyabi's. "So how are you doing"? T hasn't been home in a couple of weeks she had to go to Atlanta for business. I missed her but I had August there with me to keep me safe.

I'm doing okay. I know I called you and scared you about what happened after class. I started scratching my hand and T placed her hand on mine. "It's okay Nal I'm back and I know you really haven't been that lonely since I'm gone." We both laughed and smiled. He seems like he's really into me T. He did pull some foul shit with this bitch because he thought I was cheating but we made up. Of course I beat the bitch ass Hmph !

She shook her head and did a weak smile. "Umm Nal I've gotta tell you something." What is it ? You know you can tell me anything. She sighed and whispered. "I think I'm pregnant".

I almost fell over when she told me. How !? How is this possible ? Well ik how but like I'm saying. Who have you been talking to ? "This guy Nal we've been talking for about 2 months. I know I didn't tell you and I'm sorry. He said he wanted to keep things quiet between us. While I was in Atlanta he came to see me. Brought me roses , chocolate and this white wine.

He seduced me and it just happened and now I think I'm pregnant. I listened to every word that came out of her lips and smiled. I might be an Aunty is what you're saying to me?

"And I an uncle ?" Tishas weak smile fell and as I turned I seen Chink. "Hey Baby." He kissed the side of my cheek gently. The same cheek after he bruise it would kiss it that gently. "Hello Tisha , how are you?" She was quiet for 5 minutes and then finally spoke.

"Chink if you think you're gonna come back and do the same thing you did before you've got it all wrong. I'll beat your ass right here right now get tf away from my best friend now." She got up and he balled up his fist.

I jumped and told Tish to leave it alone. I begged her and she sat back down. Chink licked his lips and smile. "Baby come on I wanna take you somewhere." He grabbed my hand and I stood there frozen until he Yanked my arm.

I looked back and her and mouthed to her "Call August."

So he was beaten her for 2 years straight my nigga? Khalil shook his head. It said he never could hold a job , his mother died when he was 15. And his pops was never to be found. Word around the street was Nala got pregnant with his kid and aborted it.

I bit my lip just thinking about this information. I paced back and forth biting my finger nails and the i was getting a call.

And just like that I flew to my car. I called up everybody I knew I circled round wondering where they'd be. I held my phone in my hand circling these New York cities.

My phone started to ring... "Aye yo my G they said he's on 45th Edwards street In a little condo." Word I appreciate it my G stay up. We said One and got off the phone.

I pulled up it was raining when I got there. It went from 2 pm to 7 real quick. I walked up the steps watching my surroundings.

It was quiet in this condo nothing really going on. I pushed open a door nobody in there. I pushed open the second door nothing but a medium sized window opened. I pushed the last door open and saw my baby laying there with a bruise to her face.

Her eyes was closed as I could see because she was on the other side of the room but I saw that bruise. I saw a nigga laughing his way down the elevator when I ran back down the steps.

As I got into the front entrance he was Zooming down the road. I ran back up to my baby and shook her awake. Nala ! Nala ! Baby I'm here. She started crying silently and I tried to raise her arms but she couldn't. " I ... I ...I didn't want to go with him August I said no. Shh baby shhh I've got you don't worry about it.

I clenched my teeth and my jaw line started to show. I called us another car to bring us back to her crib so I could fix her up.

~ getting home ~

I waited for my own personal nurse and doctor to tell me I could go in her room. I sat on the couch angry , I was talking to myself , throwing punch in the air that should've been directed towards him. I flopped back down on the couch and started biting my fist. I need a had marks on my hand by now.

Mr. Mosely came out and said she will be okay. The bruise and swelling that happen to her arms won't go down for about 3 days but she'll be fine. I was so angry and he knew it. He touched my shoulder and gave me a calm look.

"August everything will be alright. Don't do anything stupid you hear me." I heard what he was saying but I didn't listen. I nodded and at him and walked into her room. The nurse was coming out when she saw me come in.

She looked so beautiful even with her face bruised. I felt so bad like I let her down. Baby I said while sliding in the bed. I touched her waist feeling she was crying on the other side of the bed. She didn't want to look at me but I made her. Come here but she didn't move , so I got in closer with her. I kissed her cheek and she flinched.

It was quiet for a moment and then she spoke. "August I care for you so much and I...I don't wanna lose you. Maybe it's best if we just take sometime apart. I know what you're gonna say but you don't know chink like Ik him , he's been in the game for a minute and ik how he works just please , do this for me." She wiped her streaming tears.

My anger built up even more and banged a hole into the wall. Tisha was just getting there so she ran into the room. Nala sat up wiping tears but Tisha knew it wasn't from me. I grabbed my wallet off the dresser and walked out. I couldn't understand Nala right now. She was scared for me ? She didn't know who I was then must be.

I couldn't watch this girl , my girl get beaten to death by this nigga , who puts fear in her eyes but not mine. I wouldn't let go of this. He was gonna get his and I was gonna get mine. I still couldn't believe Nala wanted me to stay away but until she figured out what was what I'd leave her to herself.. Or at least let her think that.
