The Crash

chapter 17

After Audelia left I went and took a shower because I was dirty.

While in the shower I couldn't stop thinking about her  *fucks sake*.
I got out and put on some comfy clothes and went to bed with one person in mind.

Next day....

I woke up and drove to my warehouse, I go there every now and then to check how things are going. Safe to say things were going smoothly.  I went back home because I had lots of paperwork pending. I arrived to my house and it was quiet.....way to quiet for my liking.

I put a gun in my waistband and got my keys out. I knew something was wrong fuck.

I entered my house carefully and the whole place was ruined! Oh my fucking god.  Fake blood smeared all over the walls, my sofa teared apart, everything fucking ruined .

I was furious, where had my guards been, why haven't they been on guard thats their fucking job, I pay them a decent amount of money for them to watch out for any enemies but they didn't do anything. 

I grabbed the broken pieces of vases and threw them against the wall, aswell as the table.

An hour after my anger session I called Adriel and Asher to help me find out who did this while I called my maids to help me clean up and I also told them that if they find anything evidential to bring it to me.

Next 2 hours....

I was with Adriel and Asher sorting out this attack but then we heard a knock.

"Come in" I said a little louder than normal.

I watched as my maid came in "Sir, we found this note under the armchair"

she handed it to me and it said:

The girl is pretty...actually really pretty, is perfect for me and perfect for business, this was a mini attack don't be frightend you just wait. -Nikolai.

Of course it was the Russians FUCKS SAKE and I knew exactly which girl he was talking about.

The Russians are the second most powerful mafia after ours of course. They sextraffic little orfan girls or women to rich greedy assholes for lots of money. We tried to stop them last year by killing all the people in charge of sextrafficing but Nikolai hired even more men.

I looked at Adriel and Asher and they were very confused, "Get my car ready".

I was on my bed reading a book, I felt someone watching me but Althea wasn't here because she was spending christmas in her hometown. I closed my book and just thought I was overthinking because I tend to overthink a lot. To distract I prepared some popcorn and watched some korean drama.

I was about to fall asleep but then I heard movement around me and thats when I felt something cold in my arm. The last thing I felt was someone picking me up from the sofa.
