All the students settle in the classroom for the first period of the day.
They were chatting among themselves as they waited for their teacher to come.
There was a certain student at the very back of the class who wasn't talking to anyone.
He had his head buried in the book he was reading.
He wasn't paying attention to anything else going around him and was completely immersed in the story.
No one else tried to talk to him either.
They were all just acting as if he didn't even exist.
It didn't seem to bother him at all though.
He was completely satisfied with being ignored and left to drown in his own world.
But that was interrupted when the teacher entered the classroom.
"Ok settle down!"
He clicked his tongue and closed the book he was reading after memorizing the page number he had left at.
"It was just getting to the best part... Couldn't you have taken a few more minutes to come?" He muttered under his breath as he focused his attention on the teacher.
"Today, we have a new student joining us today. Mingkwan, come on in." She said.
The door opened and a boy walked in.
Everyone's focus was immediately on him.
They started muttering among themselves as he stood next to the teacher.
He had a peculiar look to him which made everyone curious. Especially the boy who was previously immersed in the book he had been reading.
