Chapter 4

Pha's pov:

I finally feel completely at ease now.

I don't need to pretend to be just best friends with him anymore.

We can just act how we want to.

I know we're going to get shit from the other students for this.

Being gay is still considered taboo and abnormal after all.

But i don't care.

We can face them together as long as he's by my side.

Now, you must be confused as to what's going on right?

Well, long story short, Ming and i had been dating for 3 years before he had to leave with his mom to LA.

We had promised each other that we would wait until he came back.

That we wouldn't date anyone else.

I of course kept that promise and didn't let anyone near me other than Beam and Kit who are my foster brothers.

And he apparently has done the same as well.

I can't be happier.

We never told anyone about our relationship and just met up secretly without letting anyone know.

But now, that comes to an end.

He's back in my arms and I'll be damned if i let him go again.

Who cares if he's changed a lot in the last 3 years?

He's still the person i fell in love with 6 years ago.

He's just more confident to show his real self infront of everyone now.

I have Sam to thank for that.

I looked at him when he tapped my arm.

"What are you thinking about?" He tilted his head.

I smiled and shook my head. "Nothing. Just that I'm really happy right now."

He also smiled at that. "Cheesy."

I chuckled softly and focused back on the lecture while he did the same.

Beam and Kit were looking at him frowning when we met up in the courtyard for lunch.

"Why does your hair look messy?" Kit asked.

"I was too lazy to braid it." Ming shrugged.

I could tell they were confused at that but just nodded without saying anything.

I cleared my throat and looked at him.

He seems to have gotten the clue.

"Oh, and there's something we want to tell you guys." He turned to them.

They looked between us silently.

"We're dating. We had been dating for 3 years before i left for LA. And we promised we would not date anyone else and we would wait till i came back which i promised to do." Ming said making them freeze and look at him wide-eyed.

"Dating?!" They yelled at the same time.

We chuckled at their funny reaction.

"Wait 3 years before you left so since third year in middle school?!" Beam added.

Ming and i nodded.

Their jaws were hanging low.

"Why the fuck didn't you tell us?"
