Jimin and Taehyung thought Yoongi was talking about work, so they were about to get on the car. At this time, Jimin’s phone rang. Jimin raised his eyebrows and turned to a corner to answer the phone. “Phew, Mr. Liu, it’s so late and you still have time to call me? I seem to recall that you don’t like me.”

Mingyu had become less prejudiced against Jimin after having heard the truth tonight, and now he was eager to obtain the video in Jimin’s hands, so he said, “Mr. Min Jimin, I was in the wrong that day in the school. I shouldn’t have defended Min Tzuyu without knowing the truth. I apologize for that.”

Jimin hadn’t expected for Mingyu to apologize to him instead of ridiculing him. Not knowing what to say, he swallowed the ironic remarks he had prepared for him and after a moment of silence, asked, “Why did you call me?”

“Right now I’m with my mom and dad.” Mingyu took a look at the crowd, got up and walked to the other side of the cafe. As it was about 12 o’clock in the evening, there was no one else in the cafe apart from them. He stood at the floor-to-ceiling window, looking out at the night view, and said in a low voice, “I wanted to ask Mr. Min Jimin for something.”

Jimin stood in front of a pillar, kicking stones by its corner. He raised his eyebrows at Mingyu’s words and asked, “What do you want? I remember that I don’t owe you anything.”

Mingyu could tell Jimin’s reluctance from his tone, but he still wanted to bet on whether they really wanted to vent their anger for Lisa, so he said seriously, “Mr. Min Jimin, the video you shot tonight will have no value if you don’t show it to others, right? Now I want to show it to my mom and dad, as well as Min Lisa’s parents. What do you think?”

Jimin narrowed his eyes and his voice turned cold as he replied, “I don’t understand what you’re talking about!”

How did this guy know he had shot a video recording of when Taehyung was quarreling with Tzuyu? He was there, heard what was said and saw everything they did?

“You know what I’m talking about,” Mingyu said with great seriousness. “Min Tzuyu did so many terrible things to Min Lisa and stole what should have belonged to her. Don’t you want to take it back for her? Ask yourself: do you want Min Lisa’s biological parents to wrong their daughter forever, pinning her as a thief? If you want them to regret what they did, the best way is to let them find out the truth, yet never be able to gain the forgiveness of their daughter, right?”

Jimin was silent. He didn’t deny that he had shot that video recording at that time with the intent to show it to Hyunbin and Jiwon and let them know what kind of a person Tzuyu really was, even though they took her as a treasure. But what if they wanted to take Lisa back after they saw it? They really liked this sister of theirs and didn’t want her to leave them.

Not hearing Jimin answer, Mingyu knew that he was halfway to success, so he continued to say, “If I show my parents this video, Min Tzuyu will lose the support of the Liu Family which she was always proud of. Don’t you want Min Lisa to see the person who almost murdered her lose everything?”

Jimin clenched his cell phone hard and said coldly, “As far as I know, you love your fiancée a lot. Just two or three hours ago, you were still showing your affection for each other in public, but now you want to put her to death? You’re really heartless!”

“I can’t bear being cheated,” Mingyu replied coldly, but he thought in his heart, ‘Yes, I love my fiancée a lot, but that has to be my real fiancée. Who would love a fake?’

But of course he wouldn’t tell these words to Jimin now; otherwise, Jimin would refuse to give him the video, and do whatever it took to separate Lisa from him.
