Jiwon was actually in a panic now. She dared not think about what would happen if her father was really President Kwon. Could she really go to visit President Kwon to talk to him about this matter? Would he think she was a liar? Perhaps he no longer wanted to find his daughter now.
At her age, she had experienced many ups and downs in her life and had even been betrayed by her so-called 'families'. She was very uneasy now. She had experienced too much this year. She had found her own daughter, known that she was actually not that devil couple's daughter and got the hope to find her real parents. All of these were unimaginable to her before. Sometimes, she even wondered whether she was dreaming or not.
Jiwon's expression kept changing. She looked lost, anticipant and yet afraid. Seeing her like this, Lalisa felt sorry for her.
She didn't like Jiwon at first, because the latter even abandoned her own daughter, but after she knew that her daughter was actually set up, her attitude towards Min Lisa was completely changed, which showed that Jiwon was not a cold-blooded woman. She just cared about her family too much.
From Jiwon's later careful attitude to her, she learned that Jiwon was actually reluctant to abandon her and she regretted what she had done to her. Then after knowing what Jiwon had experienced since she was a kid, she suddenly forgave Jiwon for Min Lisa. Jiwon tried so hard to get what she had now. How could she let what she had owned be suddenly gone? So she began to understand Jiwon, forgave what she did to Min Lisa and started to accept her slowly.
Jiwon didn't let her down. She could see Jiwon's change, and now...
She was really sorry for Jiwon, especially when she learned that Jiwon was actually her aunt.
That car accident took Grandma away. Although Grandma was reincarnated, Aunt lost her parents in that accident and was taken away by an evil woman. That woman abused her since her childhood, and even...
Lalisa couldn't imagine what a difficult life Jiwon was living when she was little. She hoped Jiwon was really her aunt, and then Grandpa and herself would treat her well and make it up to her.
"Mom, President Kwon has been looking for you for most of his life. Now you know he might be your father. How can you have the heart to keep it from him?" Lalisa squatted down and gently put her hands on Jiwon's knees. She looked up at Jiwon and said gently, "I remember the news said he is in poor health now. Don't you want to accompany your biological father in his last years?"
Jiwon's hands shook harder and she looked at Lalisa uneasily, "May I?"
Lalisa nodded. "Sure. If you're not his daughter, we just need to apologize to him, but what if you are really his daughter? Are you willing to miss the chance to find your real father?" Lalisa took Jiwon's hands and said gently, "Mom, I don't want you to miss the chance to see your real father."
Seeing Jiwon almost persuaded by her, Lalisa continued, "Let's go to the capital right now."
Jiwon took a look at Lalisa in surprise and was about to speak, when Yeji came in. She looked at them and said gently, "Lili, someone wants to see you."
Lalisa looked back at her and Yeji pursed her lips. "It's Mr. Kwon, President of the Empire Group. Now he is chatting with your grandpa in the living room. Come on, go to meet him."
Jiwon looked at Lalisa in astonishment. Lalisa gave her a reassuring look but felt excited. Grandpa had come, which meant that he had found out about something. It seemed that she did find her aunt.
Lalisa had a complicated feeling now. Her mother was actually her aunt, and the one who should be her aunt became her mother. But she didn't have time to think about it, so she supported Jiwon to get up and said with a smile, "Mom, now you won't be afraid, will you?"
