When I was a kid,I'd scare my mom by waking her up in the middle of the night when I was scared.But I noticed that she would get startled when I woke her up,so I started to debate whether or not should I wake her up.While I was deciding,I would stand there,in her doorway.Look at the darkness behind me,then look at mom.Sometimes my mom would wake up and see me in her doorway.Alittle silhouette of a boy.She'd sit up quickly and ask if it was me or not,and sometimes I would be too scared to answer and that would freak her out more.
Looking back at it,I would have shit my pants if I were my mom.
