I got some money in my pocket, got some trouble on my tail
I can hear the dive's a-knocking, guess I'm heading off the rails
Singing, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
I'm talking 'bout you-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-oohI got some new best friends forever, see, I met 'em at the bar
Where the whiskey goes down better, when they don't know who you are
Singing, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
I'm talking 'bout you-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-oohOoh, gonna feel this in the morning
Ooh-ooh, 'cause I'm going hard tonightSo bartender, take my keys
What do you want from me?
Baby, I'm drunk, and I don't wanna go home
Not staying in to fight
I'm staying out all night
Baby, I'm drunk, and I don't wanna go homeWe don't gotta wait until the weekend
There's always time for jumping off the deep end
So don't you wait up tonight
Don't worry, I'll be fine
Baby, I'm drunk, and I don't wanna go home, yeahWe're in the bathroom gettin' chatty, there's a line out in the hall
Tryna be my sugar daddy, gettin' handsy in the stalls
Singing, ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
I'm talking 'bout you-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-oohYou like my gin and tonic kisses, 'cause you know they taste so sweet
And I know you got your missus, but there ain't no one like me
Talkin' 'bout you-ooh-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-ooh
Mmm, I'm talking 'bout you-ooh-ooh-ooh, ooh-ooh-oohOoh, gonna feel this in the morning
Ooh-ooh, 'cause I'm going hard tonightSo bartender, take my keys
What do you want from me?
Baby, I'm drunk, and I don't wanna go home

Baby, I'm drunk, and I don't wanna go home
Not staying in to fight
I'm staying out all night
Baby, I'm drunk, and I don't wanna go homeWe don't gotta wait until the weekend (hell no)
There's always time for jumping off the deep end (let's go)
So don't you wait up tonight
Don't worry, I'll be fine
Baby, I'm drunk, and I don't wanna go home, yeahI don't wanna
(Oh-oh-oh) don't wanna go home
(Oh-oh) I don't wanna
(Oh-oh-oh) don't wanna go homeMost of the time, Drunk and I don't wanna go home ended her set and she was thoroughly impressed with how Steve and John kept up with her as she danced around the stage. When they made it back to the table, she started counting the money.
"So should we split the tips?"
"No, they're yours." John shakes his head.
"You're really good. Like really good." Steve smiles at her.
"Thanks, it comes naturally I guess."
"John, Lindsey, I need to talk to you in my office." Mick stands up right as the food comes.
"Awe Mate, my dinner." John whines.
"It'll be here when you get back." Mick grabs his arm.
"What's going on?" John asks when they're safely hidden.
"We think, that, that is Lindsey and Stevie's Annabel."
"You're shitting me?"
"No, I'm not. I swear to god John...I just there's a feeling there." Lindsey throws his hands up in the air.
"But..." Mick looks at him.
"But, this morning we had breakfast together. We were the only two in the house so it just kinda happened and I got her talking. She knows who her birthparents are. I asked her if I knew them and she made, Stevie's face."
"Stevie's face?" Mick asks.
"The are you fucking shitting me face?" Lindsey states
"Oh yeah, that's a bad face." John winces.
"I'm tempted to just ask if it's me but I don't know if I should."
"Wait a few more days...I can see it. She looks like Stevie and the way she commanded that stage out there. It's uncanny, but just give it a few more days. And if you want, the two of us can hang around your house and try to pick some things up." John shrugs.
"I'd appreciate it. Really I would." Lindsey nods.
"Alright, now let's go eat."
"I'll try to poke the bear, as they say, over dinner." Mick pats Lindsey's back.
They're half way through eating, when Mick clears his throat. "So Annabel, anyone in your family musical?"
"Um I don't know...I was adopted. Mike and Edith Bekker where my adoptive parents. They died when I was fifteen. They were run off the road by a drunk driver. All three of them, the driver and my parents were dead on the scene. I didn't even know I was adopted, I had sold the house and was cleaning out their attic when I figured it out. But it made sense to me."
"Made sense?" John asks.
"I picked up a guitar when I was three. Neither of them were musical. I'm blonde, Mike had black hair, Edith was a brunette. They both had blue eyes, I have brown eyes. They were both tall, I'm not. Mike was a federal judge and Edith was a social worker." As soon as she said it, Lindsey choked on his drink.
"So was your mom in charge of your case?" John asks.
"I don't know...I have a California birth certificate but I was raised in Utah."
"Where were you born in California?"
"Cedars-Sinai."
"And do you know your birth parents."
"I KNOW who they are, I just haven't gone looking for them. They're famous and if I tried...it wouldn't be good. For anybody."
"Well that's not a reason not to meet them. You can try and keep everything quiet." Mick shrugs.
"Not with them." She assures.
"Well, they really missed out on one talented and polite young lady." Kristen smiles and just like that, Lindsey's heart is ripped out of his chest.
Later that night, Annabel had changed into her pajamas, it was a pair of shorts and a tank top. The main color was a purple color and there were pink flowers on it. When she got downstairs, Lindsey was nursing a glass of scotch and he was looking at something. When she landed on a squeaky stair his head perked up and he put what he was looking at away.
"Hey, can't sleep either?" He asks.
"Samantha's hard to sleep with. She's a helicopter."
"Maybe you should let her sleep with William." He smirks.
"I was actually going to write and use your guitar if that's okay?"
"Absolutely go ahead. I'll become scarce when I finish my drink."
"No, you're fine don't worry about it." She smiles.
"Are you sure?"
'Yeah, I was going out on the patio anyway."
He nods and lets her go. When the door is shut, he watches her and he just wonders. Wonders how different their lives would've been if he had passed his drug test.
