Washed Ashore - Chapter 1

The waves crashed on the small beach Aphmau and Zoe found themselves on.

"Ugh my head.." Aphmau groaned. She sat up and look at her surroundings. She spotted Zoe not far from her with a giant board across her chest. Aphmau got into action removing the board from her friend and checking her for injury's.

She realized that that the boys were no where to be seen. She say Zoe up on a board stuck into the sand and looked around the beach. Suddenly she heard voices. Upon closer inspection those voices were the missing people, soaked to the bone and arguing with each other.

"How is it my fault the ship was attacked! Please enlighten me!" Laurence's huffed for seemingly the hundredth time.

"I never said I blamed you, you morron! Where are you getting that from?!" Garroth huffed back, whilst emptying his boots from water. "You're just angry your wet, we have no way back, and can find the girls!" Laurence went to storm off but caught Aphmau is is vision.

"Aph! Thank Irene you're alright! Where is Miss Zoe?" Garroth perked up at the mention of Aphmau and Zoe.

"We aren't that far down the beach form you two idiots, I could hear you from where we were." Aphmau said with a chuckle. "Cmon now you two we have to make camp before the sun sets!" She walked away to help Zoe to a safer area. The boys got up to follow, Garroth pulling on his boots mid walk just to keep up.

-1 hour later-

With a fire going and clothes now dry they were clueless on what to do for food. The boys searched the wreckage of the boat but couldn't find anything edible. Zoe was now awake and talking with Laurence about what happened.

"I odn't even remeber what happened to our ship... We left the Tu'la region to the west and- oh no."

"What Zoe?"

"We left to the west Laurence! Towards the first spot the gods acended to the heavens! Its rumored to be incredibaly dangerous! No one has survived out this way for more than a day!" Zoe was getting paler by the second. Aphmau put a hand on her shoulder and have her a comforting look.

"We will be fine Zoe, I just know it! We have been through a lot and have come out of most of it unscathed." Aphmau said without a doubt. Zoe sighed and sat down again, Aphmau right next to her.
