"Ughh I wish you would hurry up and pick something " I said to my girlfriend of four years.

"girl don't keep rushing me, yo ass the one who wanted to go shopping today " y/n answered still looking at the toy shelf.

Right now we're currently Christmas shopping for our families and friends. We we're almost done but y/n was taking forever to find presents for her niece.

The way she spoils her niece you would think she was her daughter.

"bae pink or blue?" She said holding up two toys.

"Blue" i answered looking through some clothes.

"ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOUU" y/n and the kids yelled. It's now four days before Christmas and all her family she likes is here.

"Y/n/n can i open a gift please nowww" Maddie said sitting on her lap.

"not until Christmas baby" Y/n said kissing her cheek.

Maddie pouted but didn't talk back. She was basically y/n's daughter since the day she was born.

Maddie is her brothers daughter but unfortunately he passed away before he could know about his daughter.

He was shot and killed by old friends of theirs who were jealous.

when y/n found out she raised hell. She made sure her brothers killers were found and her brother got his justice.

Then his girlfriend at the time found out she was pregnant and announced it at the funeral.

Since then she's always took care of Maddie and spoiled her.

"Who wants to make a gingerbread house?" I asked from the kitchen.

"MEEEEE."

"Merry Christmas everyone " Y/n told the kids handing them their gifts. They wasted no time ripping open the gifts.

"AHHHH-I GOT MY AMERICAN GIRL DOLLS " Maddie yelled jumping up and down.

"Maddie what do we say?" Maddie's mother said.

"Thank you y/n/n" she said hugging y/n tight. I smiled at there interaction and took a picture before going to the kitchen.

"Merry Christmas my love" y/n said kissing my cheek and handing me my present. I smiled and unwrapped my gift.

I opened it and saw a ring.

I turned my head before speaking " baby I already have a promise- omg"

I looked up and y/n was on one knee smiling.

"Normani Kordei Hamilton will you do the honors of becoming my wife?"

"YES," I said without hesitation. She smiled, slipped my ring on, and spun me around.

"You like your ring ?" Y/n asked still holding me.

"Of course but it only took you four long years to ask," I said rolling my eyes playfully.
