Alone and Afraid

Chapter 4

When we got to Hogwarts tom woke me up and told me it's time to get off the train. We all walk into the great hall and the first years get sorted, now it was my turn.

"Y/n snape?" McGonagall called me up.

I looked as if I were going to cry walking up on the platform to get sorted.

"Ahh a Snape huh...just like your father I might add. Yes there is courage, brave, smart, and kind in you but where to put you? Yes that will be perfect for a young girl such as yourself...GRIFFENDOR, HUFFLEPUFF, RAVENCLAW, AND SLYTHERIN." The hat yelled out.

The whole hall went quite for a few minutes till Dumbledoor spoke.

"No this isn't possible. This has never happened before and it never should have unless...no you can't be...there is just no way." Dumbledoor said looking at me then to my father.

"The only way this could have happened was if your a...vampire." Dumbledoor spoke looking at me.

"Albus...do you remember when severus got here? The same thing happened." McGonagall said.

Dumbledoor took his gaze off me and looked at dad. Snape had his head on the table trying not to be caught but it wasn't working.

"Dad...ik what I am I saw in the books mom gave me." I said looking at the ground.

"It's time we tell people y/n...yes me and y/n are not normal but that is because we are vampires, but have any of us hurt anyone of you?" Snape said.

Everyone shook there head no.

Snape looked at me and bit my neck to turn me into a vampire. I wasn't expecting my father to do that and yet look where we are, my own father biting my neck to turn me into a vampire. After my father was done I just stood there not knowing what to do. Dumbledoor didn't even say anything. He finally spoke and broke the silence.

"Miss Snape to my office immediately, you to severus." Dumbledoor said looking at me.

I looked at my dad and ran out of the great hall up to Dumbledoor's office. Dumbledoor and Snape followed.

"Severus what were you thinking? You couldn't have waited to turn y/n somewhere else? You had to go and turn her in the great hall didn't you?" Dumbledoor said not looking up from his desk.

"Professor Dumbledoor, I'm sorry that this happened but I still never got my house." I said not looking up from my feet that were stuck to the ground like they were glued down by a first years pranks.

"Yes I know y/n but you are going to have to choose what house you want. The hat already decided and you got all 4 houses so now you have to choose." Dumbledoor told me.

I looked at him and chose the house I wanted to be in. He gave me my things and sent me on my way to my common room. While I was walking around to find my common room I found two very tall boys that looked like they were in their 4th or 5th year. One of them turned my way and asked me a question while the other was setting something up, it looked like a prank to me but I didn't get to see very well.

"Well hello darling, and who might you be?" The first boy asked.

"Are you talking to me?" I asked not wanting to turn around to see.

"Yea I am, I mean you are the only one in the hall way besides me and my brother." The boy said.

"Oh right...and to answer your question my name is y/n y/n snape." I said.

"So your the vampire girl?" The second boy said looking away from his prank.

"Yea you could say that I am the vampire girl." I said giggling a bit.

"I'm fred and this is George." Tall boy said still not looking at his prank.

"Are you twins?" I asked.

They both looked at eachother and shook their heads yes.

"It's not hard to tell us apart though so you will have it easy." Fred said looking back at his prank.

"Do you want to help us?" George said.

I shook my head yes and we got to work. Little did I know the prank was on my father and I would get in so much trouble if he found out I was involved. After we set up the prank there was less then a minute until the kidor adult walked right into it.

"So who is the prank on? I asked looking at George.

"Professor Snape." George said.

"Wait what" that's when I heard my dad yelling.

"FRED AND GEORGE WEASLY YOU ARE IN SO MUCH TROUBLE." My father yelled.

Fred, George, and I were laughing so hard until dad found us hiding behind the pillar.

"Oh shit." Fred said.

"RUN!" George said.

We all ran as fast as we could till we got to my common room and I opened the door. We all ran in as fast as we could and I shut the door.

"That was actually really funny." I said still laughing.

"Yea it was and you were scared for what reason?" Fred said laughing.

George couldn't get anything out of his mouth he was laughing to hard to talk. When I looked over to the couch I was everyone sitting there.

"Hey princess what house did you choose?" Tom asked me kissing the top of my head.

"I chose slytherin." I said looking at tom.

"Good." Tom said smiling.

"Wait what are you doing with two griffendor kids especially the weasley twins?" Draco asked with his normal frown.

"Oh stop it dray they are really funny and sweet." I said.

I looked at tom and he looked at me and kisses my noes. I giggled at him and kissed his lips. He has no idea how much I love him. I said in my head.
