Kyo currently gently held my hand taking me through the forest watching as the sun tried to pierce through the remaining leaves and the clouds blocking it's ways through.
We walked silently hand in hand and the falling leaves covered us like snow.
"This is a shortcut" Kyo smiled back to me walking me over the sticks and rocks.
I smiled back in response as he suddenly stopped in the middle of the trees feeling the cold breeze go past us.
"Are you alright?" I spoke as he turned to me and nodded.
"I'm not sure.. I just got a strange feeling" he spoke as I held onto his shoulder.
"Do you want to turn back?" I spoke as he looked down to me with a small smile.
"No, I just feel almost at my inner peace. I've never had this feeling before" he smiled as I smiled back.
Could it be what I've been feeling?
Love so powerful it takes over us?
Kyo started leading me through the trees again as we popped out the other side seeing the town centre not far away.
"What do you fancy for food?" He said as my stomach started growling just at the mention of food.
"I guess anything" I laughed as he chuckled.
He still held my hand as we walked past the different shops looking at all the Halloween decorations.
Eventually we came across a nice restaurant which Kyo pointed out.
He only wanted to go because they did the best fish in town.
We got in and Kyo led me to a table booth at the far back.
Before I sat down he took my coat off me and sat happily opposite me.
"You didn't have to take me out" I said to him as he looked at me.
"I wanted to! Can I ask you something Y/N?" He said looking directly at me.
I nodded but just as he was about to speak a waitress came up to us.
"Good afternoon, what can I get for you?" She politely asked as I smiled.
"Just a glass of water is fine for me" I spoke as she wrote it down in her little notepad before looking towards Kyo.
"Can I have milk?" He asked watching as the women looked a little confused by his request, I couldn't help but giggle.
"Yes, we have milk" she smiled as Kyo nodded.
"I'll have that to start please" he said as she nodded and walked away.
"Milk?" I said as he shrugged his shoulders.
"I'm still a cat" he huffed folding his arms over his chest and pouting. He looked adorable like that.
"Anyways as I was saying..." he spoke just then the waitress came back with the drinks in her hand placing them down very slowly in front of us.
"Thank you" I smiled as she pulled out her little notepad again.
"Are you ready to order food?" She asked as me and Kyo gave each other a look before nodding.
"I'll have the fish and chips please" Kyo said as she nodded.
"I'll have the fish bites and chips please" I smiled at her as she smiled writing it quickly down and excusing herself.
"Not a bad choice" Kyo said as I smiled.
"Thank you kitty" I smiled watching him as he frowned.
"Not a kitty" he huffed as I poked his hand.
"Kitty! Kitty! Kitty!" I teased watching him get more and more frustrated.
He was trying so hard to keep his anger in.
"Your lucky we are out in public, otherwise I would of tackled you to the ground by now" he chuckled nervously.
"You could try" I huffed back watching him relax in his seat giving me a very cheeky grin.
"We will see about that" he smirked.
"So what were you going to say?" I said as he leaned forward on the table.
"I was going to ask..." just then the waitress came back placing the delicious hot food in front of us.
This woman was fast!
I couldn't help but giggle at our continued interruptions.
It only makes me remember more and more about that time on the beach, the countless times he tried to get me alone or to tell me how he felt. But we kept getting interrupted by everything.
Eventually he took me down to the ocean and finally kissed me telling me how he felt just by actions instead of words.
Now that I think about it, he's always used actions over words. Like today when he tackled me.
Was that his love language?
"This looks amazing" Kyo smiled almost drooling down at the fish snapping me out of my trance.
"It does" I smiled.
"Let's eat it before it gets cold" I smiled as we both started digging into our amazing meals.
They had seasoned everything perfectly, Kyo definitely picked the best place.
I watched as Kyo practically scoffed down his fish.
"Slow down! you will choke!" I laughed as he looked up and smiled, a piece of fish hanging around his mouth.
"It's not my fault" he chuckled wiping his mouth and eating a little more slowly.
I wasn't even half way done with my plate when he was nearly finished.
Are cats even meant to eat that fast?
I eventually finished mine as we stacked our plates on top of the other and Kyo let out a relived sigh looking at me smiling.
"What's wrong?" I spoke wiping my mouth thinking I had something on my face.
He reached over gently taking my hand into his and rubbing his thumb over my knuckles.
"I'm so happy to see you eat a full plate" he smiled.
That's when I leaned forward looking into his eyes.
The sparkle...
The sparkle had reappeared in his eyes bringing all his warmth back and all his feeling show on his face.
The glimpse shined even brighter then before like a gigantic disco ball.
And his honey eyes dragged me in once again losing me in my thoughts and dragging me into the pits of love.
Just then the women came over taking our dishes and placing the check in front of us.
Kyo pulled away and as I went to pull out my purse he stopped me and pulled out his wallet placing the correct money down.
"I got this one" he smiled as I nodded back being completely love struck.
