After a long time of hardships
I finally returned to the arms I call home
And the eyes that look at me with unconditional love
I didn't know how much I missed them
Until I heard the words
"Welcome back home"
Spoken with a voice that soothes the rages of my restless soul
No matter where I go, no matter how many miles are in between us...
Whenever I return..
Those well-known, protective arms
Will forever be home to me
