a/n: because so many liked the first one, i made a second part to this story, it was originally posted on ao3 but due to high demands its being posted on wattpad. this has been split into two parts due to the second part being a smut scene and mainly focusing on dark cacaos perspective of things.

Everything was a mess, pure vanilla could tell that special time of the year was coming up. The slightest of mishaps would make him incredibly irritated. He had already broken down twice because his nest wasn't perfect, and the fact that the handsome alpha who was courting him was nowhere to be seen. It's a week's travel from the dark cacao kingdom to the vanilla kingdom and pure vanilla already sent a letter asking dark cacao to join him during this intimate moment weeks ago.

The alpha had not replied and time was running out, pure vanilla was getting more agitated by the second. There was hardly anything that anyone could do to calm down the royal omega as he grumpily walked around the castle halls. Pure vanilla and dark cacao decided once they were mated that they would reveal to the public both their relationship and pure vanilla's true status as an omega, but now that an opportunity has come up, dark cacao has gone radio silent. Pure vanilla was not happy at all.

Pure vanilla decided if dark cacao was not here within a day, then he would just go through his heat without the alpha. He's done it before alone and he can do it again alone. The nest did move many times, from the bed, to the attached bathroom, to the corner of the bedroom, then finally he moved it into the closet. The closet was small and could only fit just himself in it, but it would teach dark cacao a little lesson on being late for this important part of their lives.

Inside the closet were a large amount of different blankets and pillows, a few items that belonged to different members of his family, more items but belonging to white lily and dark cacao, and an abundance of bottled water and different food items that pure vanilla would need during his heat. He was all set to go for the entire week.

Later that night, pure vanilla climbed into his closet nest. Tomorrow morning he would wake up in a heat induced state and wouldn't leave said state until the next week came along. Everything was going alright despite there being no dark cacao to help him. That was until a knock came to the door.

"Nilla? Can I come in please?" asked a familiar voice

Pure vanilla didn't say anything, he was still slightly angry at him. The door slowly creaked open and dark cacao let himself in, he looked quite sympathetic towards pure vanilla, knowing that it was a rough time period for the omega. Pure vanilla looked away from the alpha and just closed the closet doors.

"Nilla? Can I please enter your nest? It's... very cozy," softly asked dark cacao

"No," pure vanilla said quite bluntly

Dark cacao was taken back by this statement, that's when he knew that he surely messed up big time. He had no idea what to do about the omega. So dark cacao just stayed.

Pure vanilla soon caught the smell of chocolate entering his nose, peeking through the doors of the closet he could see dark cacao opening a small bag of assorted chocolates from the dark cacao kingdom.

"Oh! Did you want some omega?" asked dark cacao as he noticed pure vanilla's soft sky and daffodil coloured eyes.

Pure vanilla just squeaked back into his comfy closet nest. Slightly jumped at dark cacao's notice of him. Dark cacao just laughed and pushed the small bag towards pure vanilla, in less than a second the bag was gone from sight, taken into the closet where the omega was. Dark cacao just smiled at the small action, even if pure vanilla was mad at him, he still would eat the chocolates that dark cacao would bring him.

The night slowly passed, neither of them falling asleep just yet. Through the door dark cacao would tell short stories to pure vanilla, stories about his youth and other legends from the dark cacao kingdom. Pure vanilla was ready to forgive the alpha, but not just yet.

"Cacao.... Would you like to.... Come into my nest?" mumbled pure vanilla.

Dark cacao looked at the blonde omega and held a big grin, and the closet door opened slightly.

"Yes nilla! I would love to come into your nest... it's just one thing," answered dark cacao, his eyes looking towards the nest.

"Is it bad? I can remake it! We still have time! I'm sorry alpha!" panicked pure vanilla, fearing that his nest is not up to his alphas standards, nearly crying over it.

"No no no no, it's a wonderful nest... it's just that i can't fit in it, its very small," said dark cacao, trying to calm down the stressed omega,

Pure vanilla did purposely make the nest small so dark cacao wouldn't fit in it, but now that he was actually here... his plan didn't even make any sense.

"Come on, you wanna move it for me?" politely asked dark cacao, opening the closest door slightly more, only to be met with a sniffing and slightly teary eyed pure vanilla.

"Oh there's no need for any tears my love, come here," cooed dark cacao, letting his arms reach out to the omega.

Pure vanilla climbed into his arms, if it was earlier in the week or even the day he wouldn't be this emotional. All of this is because of his heat.

"What's wrong nila?" asked dark cacao, brushing his hand through pure vanillas soft blonde locks

"You don't like my nest!" cried out pure vanilla.

"I do like your nest! It's just very small..." replied dark cacao, still trying to calm down pure vanilla.

"Come on let's move it to the bed," suggested dark cacao picking up pure vanilla from the ground and placing him on the empty bed

"Stay here and I'll grab your stuff," said dark cacao as he placed pure vanilla on the bed.

The alpha walked over to the closet and pulled out the blankets and pillows and placed them on the bed, within a seconded pure vanilla had already started constructing a new nest for the two of them. It was quite funny to dark cacao on how omegas in the vanilla kingdom acted, unlike omegas in the dark cacao kingdom they were more emotional... omegas in the dark cacao kingdom were somewhat tougher which is surprising for their smaller size. The rest of the items which included articles of clothing and snack items were also added to pure vanilla nest.

"Do you like my nest alpha?" asked pure vanilla, slowly feeling the effects of his heat kick in.

"Yes I do like it... may I join you know," responded dark cacao.

Pure vanilla nodded excitedly, watching dark cacao undress himself until he was just in a simple pair of black boxers and climbing into the nest of blankets and pillows. The moment dark cacao laid down he was met with pure vanilla sungling up to him.

"Pure vanilla... before we do anything I need to make sure you are okay with this," said dark cacao quite sternly.

"Yes, I am perfectly okay with doing all of this, and mating if you want too..." replied pure vanilla.

"Good, I don't want to force you into anything," said dark cacao.

The couple soon fell asleep after that, knowing once pure vanilla wakes up is when things start to shift into full gear.
