A few days since we arrived at the Internment Zone. We went to a shelter since a few people saw me with Lilliana and didn't feel right keeping a baby on the streets. We knew it was temporary so I'd have to look for work and get our own place.

I was wandering the streets looking at a few places. I was reading a flyer about the hospital looking for assistants due to a war that had just recently started.

I was distracted by that when I accidently bumped into someone.

"Ah! I'm so sorry!" I apologised.

"No don't apologise. Please, I'm sorry." The woman muttered.

"I wasn't paying attention to where I was going therefor it's my fault." I blurted.

I looked at the woman who had neck length brown hair who looked awfully familiar.

Wait this woman is... My grandmother!

I stared at her dumbfounded until she had a worried expression.

"Are you alright?" She asked.

"Uh sorry. I didn't mean to stare." I muttered, looking away.

"Don't worry about it. You look exhausted. Is something troubling you?" She asked.

"Uh no I'm just looking for a job. I need to find a place for my children so I need to find a job." I explained.

"I see. What kind of work are you looking for?" She asked.

"I'm a doctor and a scientist so anything medicine related or just helping people will be good." I explained.

"Really? My husband runs a clinic but right now he's busy working at the hospital treating lots of patients. If you like, I can talk to him and see if there's anything we can do to help you. I just need your name." She explained, with a soft but tired expression.

"M-My name is (y/n)-"

"(y/n)?!" She suddenly blurted, covering her mouth.

Did she already figure out who I am?!

"Ackerman! (y/n) Ackerman..." I muttered.

"I'm sorry. I had a granddaughter with the same name..." She looked sad.

She thinks I'm dead. She's already had a great loss in her life. Losing all of her children and then a grandchild. She's someone I'm fighting for as well. I don't want her to grieve.

"Actually... My maiden name is Yeager..." I whispered.

Her eyes widened as she let out a gasp.

"(y/n)...? Is that really you?" Her eyes filled with tears as she was shocked.

I smiled and nodded my head.

"It's good to see you again, grandma or... Nana." I greeted.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she wrapped her arms around me.

"Oh (y/n)...! I can't believe it's you! I can't believe you're alive! You're so grown up... You're so beautiful." She cried, as her grip around me tightened.

"I'm home."

"And did I hear you correctly? You're a doctor? And you have children?" She looked at me with a sad smile.

"I am. I have three. Two daughters and a son." I replied.

"You must come home with me! Bring your children! Please come stay with us! I'm sure we have a lot to catch up on!" She grabbed my arm and pulled me along.
