Here I was, being dragged by a random ass child, Who wasn't even Tom's kid. Going to see someone who liked the color purple I guess, these weirdly colorized names are starting to get to me. I mean, Red was always mine but I preferred the whole title 'Red Leader' over just the color red. Honestly, it wasn't specific enough for me to know who it was immediately since a lot of people must like the color purple. But in the back of my mind, I think I could figure it out.
Travis continued pulling on my arm, dragging me to god knows where while Tom struggled to keep up with us, but on the way, I got to see the city a lot closer. Upon closer examination, I could see that the buildings weren't just acrylic blue they were also pretty silvers and light golds along with some lilac purples, some had white lights inside them others had yellow. There were shops outdoors, mostly small things like flowers or cups and t-shirts. I wasn't surprised when I saw some of the shirts had the Blue rebellion logo on their shoulders. Is Tom really that famous down here?
Now that I really think about it, this is a whole damn city, underground. I'm pretty sure Tom, Edd, and Matt didn't just find a random city underground, this must have been years of building. But how did they do this? Last time I checked they weren't construction workers. But then I realized, there were so many people here in this city, maybe they had help from the citizens. Glancing at the people we pasted they seemed perfectly content with this place, smiling, laughing, it was just so peaceful.
No one even seemed to notice me, sure I had some glances but it was probably because I was a grown ass man being dragged by this thirteen year old danish kid with the Blue Leader running, out of breath, behind us, they were just a bit confused which would of been me if I saw this scene unfold from in front of me. "We are almost there!" Travis exclaimed, smiling happily. As he said that we approached a long rectangular building that was an acrylic red, Tom was really going with the pastel colors in this city wasn't he?
There was a sign above the entrances, Underground london elementary school. I paused for a second, was one of the leaders a teacher? The dane suddenly stopped, causing me to fly forward, falling in front of me, luckily my arm was grabbed before I could faceplant in front of the school where a lot of children could see. Oh yeah there were children outside, they stared at us curiously, at least until one noticed Tom. "Blue!" One shouted. When I was pulled up it took me a second to notice the brit was the one that saved me. Of course I didn't have time to say anything as the group of kids decided to mob past me and surround Tom like he was a famous celebrity.
Travis giggled, keeping his goofy smile as I glanced down at him. "Does this always happen when he goes places..?" I questioned, raising a brow as I glanced back over at the children crowding around the Jehovah's witness. "Well yeah, everyone loves Tom! He always drops by and tells the kids amazing war stories." The dane responded, I just rolled my eye at that, but deep down I was interested in what Tom actually tells the kids.
"Alright kids stop harassing Tom." An adult muttered, though I recognized that voice, it was a light high pitched voice, british male voice to be exact but unlike Toms it wasn't rough and stressed. I turned around to meet the person's gaze before freezing in place, our eyes locked on eachother, He definitely looked different from the last time I saw him, he seemed taller. Maybe that's just because I'm shorter than him.
He wore a light purple beanie on the back of his gingered hair, the first thing I really noticed was the eyepatch and metallic jaw, yet he still had sky blue eyes that lit up whenever he saw someone he knew and cared about. Wait, but he also had a dark purple turtleneck sweater, with a dark green overcoat awkwardly button to make diamond holes that show off the under sweater, it was a bit weird how everyone who did work in this army was wearing really dark colors now maybe it was to hide from the new threat?
