"You're Mr. Hyung, correct?" Jay nods. It's his first day and he was early so he decided to spark up a few conversations. Being the mainly introverted guy he was, it took him a few minutes to be able to find someone to talk to. "Ah, well I'm Ms. Seojun. Nice to meet you! I hope you'll like it here." Jay smiles and nods, "I'm sorry if I seem rather cold, I don't really do social interaction. I have no problem with teaching though, it's actually something I've always wanted to do." The woman nods, "I totally understand that, my classroom is right down the hall if you need anything. Just try not to disturb Mr Lee."
"Who's that?" Jay asks, Seojun's statement peaking his curiosity. "He... He has issues, starting with his temper." She walks away into her classroom. Strange, he thought. Right as Jay turns around to walk into his classroom he bumps into someone, "Excuse me." Jay looks at the man, "I'm sorry I didn't see you-" the other man cuts him off, "Look, my name is Felix Lee, I know you've probably heard things about me. You don't need to apologize or worry about getting on my last nerve. Okay? See you at our lunch break." He pats Jay on the back as if nothing had just happened.
Jay Hyong walks to his classroom and sets everything up. He had already set up his lesson plans earlier that month when he was hired so he was already set for basically the rest of the week and the next. Suddenly, an ocean of students pour into the room, Jay gives himself a very silent and unnoticeable pep talk. Once everyone was in the room, it was silent. "My name is Mr. Hyung. As you may already know, I'm a new teacher this school year." He writes his name on the chalkboard. A girl student raised her hand, "yes, in the corner over there?" Jay asks.
"Do you like men Mr Hyung? Are you one of "those"?" Jay avoids the question, "I'm not allowed to say if I am or not, it's against the university staff and student handbook." The girl sitting right next to her pipes up, " Mr. Lee only likes to talk to men he's got a fling for, you should be careful-" Jay cuts her off, "Enough, next time someone mentions anything like that will be written up." Jay gets to the lesson eventually and tries to calm down his anger because despite the harassment, he's got to stay professional.
"Finally, lunch time." Jay says to himself, sighing in relief as he's able to finally sit down and eat his salad. It was peaceful until the door opened casually and shut, "Mr Hyung, I did say I'd lunch. Sorry to just barge in." Felix pulls up a chair and opens a bag of potato chips. "Why'd you want to have lunch with me..?" Jay asks timidly, he doesn't like conflict but didn't know how to word his question. "If I'm being completely honest I'm just bored and breaks are a little too long these days." Felix pulls a container with one hard boiled egg in it out, "I rarely eat these because they make my stomach upset, but I couldn't turn down snacks from my mom. Want it?" Felix shows Jay the egg.
"Uh, no thanks, I really don't like eggs, thank you for the offer though." Jay looked at Felix and took a moment to take in all his features. Doe eyes, beautiful bleach blonde hair, handsome jawline, not to mention, a really sexy voice along with the irresistible Australian accent. "Alright, more for me then." Felix happily opens the container and takes the egg, that still looked fresh, and eats it. "You sure you're going to be okay Mr. Lee?" Felix smiles at Jay, "Yes, and you can just call me Felix." Felix felt his stomach turn and growl, knowing all too well that eating that egg was a horrible idea. He didn't want to just let one rip in front of his brand new co-worker but it was difficult to resist.
"Are you okay?" Jay reaches out in concern but before his hand could reach Felix's shoulder, Felix farted and by all means it was not quiet nor was it short. Felix expresses great embarrassment on his face, "excuse me..." He mumbles, "hey it's okay." Jay felt weird, instead boy feeling disgusted or feeling the need to throw up his salad, he blushed. He thought Felix's fart was... cute. It felt taboo to him though, he shouldn't be thinking such an odd thought. "Jay?" Felix was holding his stomach, "I'm really sorry, it probably smells really bad and it's gross." Jay looks down, unsure what he should say, "Do you have a thing for farting?"
Hyong immediately referred the unprofessional sentence he just said to his brand new co-worker. To his utter surprise Felix nodded, "there, you're probably going to spread the news everywhere. Everyone else knows at least something horrific about me and now you do." Jay hugs Felix, trying to comfort him and to take the opportunity to whisper in his ear, "I thought your fart was really adorable." Awkwardly pulling away from the blonde, Jay pulls out some mildly hot tea, "here it's not much but it may temporarily soothe your stomach ache. " You sure?" Felix asks, taking the Thermos from him.
"Yes" a smile makes it's way onto Jay's lips as Felix takes a sip. "So, what made you choose a job over at this specific university?" Felix asks, curiosity over filling his mind like a kid trying to pour a glass of juice for the first time. "I've always dreamed of working here since I was 12. Both of my parents met here and have been together ever since. Crazy right? I'm not a true believer in soulmates or destiny but I feel like they were meant to be together." Felix grins, "that's actually really awesome." Suddenly, Jay's classroom door opens revealing, Seojun?
