Chapter Nine

The rest of the day goes by with a meeting with the principal, who I find out actually looks nothing like Dumbledore, and who's name is Zakaria Terror. From the Terror Clan. Another of the Seven Tyrants. However, it seems that's a well kept secret, that only some students and staff know. Then we got settled into the dorms, and then an assembly after dinner to introduce us to the school and explain shortly what happened after our arrival. The week passes as we settle into class and I serve my in school suspension cleaning the cafeteria after meals and helping Miss. Daisy clean up her courtyard between my classes. Which I'm not sure how that's supposed to teach me not to commit murder, but I'm not complaining. At some point our clean up crew did come, and my dorm room is now completely clean, and set up.
And by that I mean the rest of our boxes and luggage came, and our friends brought us things as well. Rydel and I both got eighty inch flat screens for our rooms, as well as a play Station Five for my room and X-Box connect for his. Our kitchen areas are now fully stocked, and my dorm has a bunch of fur skin rugs one of our African friends hunted and made for me, while Rydels room got a complete make over.
My brother is awfully proud of himself. Like me, he has a four room apartment, and he had it redone with modern decor. Granite counters, tiled floors, silver steal appliances, king sized beds in every room, tall lamps, little plants in some rooms on the corner tables. To offset this though, he has a snake enclosure in his room, with a Banana snake that's already five feet long. I'm personally thinking of getting a cat if we're just going to ignore the no pets rule.
One thing both of us don't like is after the first day, Headmaster Terror gave us separate classes. The only class we have together is archery, and we share a lunch period. On the plus side, I do share my other classes with at least one of my other friends. My mornings always start with yoga, and it was made clear that there is no way I can switch it. Then Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays I have English Literature, Study Hall, my lunch period, Chemistry, then archery. Tuesdays and Thursdays after yoga I have AP Trigonometry, Art, then a free period before lunch, and after lunch I have Magic Training then Sword Mastery. Saturday I have Species Understanding, which is basically the history of all the supernatural races, then Beast Taming, which is a nature class. Sunday is my only free day.
True to his word Rydel and I take turns sleeping in each other's dorms. The boys share the other four room apartment in the boys dorm, and Liza the other one in the girls dorm. Eve and Rose have become a part of our group in a way, but I don't talk with them much. It's now Sunday night and we were all at the boys dorm and we're heading to dinner.  "So, when is your punishment over with?" Liza asks, linking her arm with mine as Tank holds the door open for all of us. I groan. "I have to go to Zacharias office after dinner to talk about it." Devi raises his eyebrows. "Should you be calling him by his first name?"
I roll my eyes. "Are you going to snitch on me?" Sin laughs. "No. But someone else might." I give a half shrug. "Please. There are still rumors going around about what she did to Sam." Eve says and Rose nods, her eyes bright. "Yeah. Some kids are even saying they saw your friends taking his body out. No one besides the inner circle will have the guts to do anything to y'all right now." Tank rests his arm on her head, which I have no idea how he keeps it there while we're walking, and gives her a smile. "What do you mean y'all? You two are one of us now." She bounces slightly as we enter the stairway, successfully getting his arm off over her.
"Maybe, but no one takes us seriously." Tank nods thoughtfully. "We'll have to change than then, don't we?" I ask, and Rydel raises his eyebrows at me, while Eve and Rose look surprised. "What do you mean?" Eve questions, hesitation in her voice. I glare at a kid who's coming up and they quickly move to let us pass. "We'll, if they're part of our group now, we can't have people treating them like they're not."
"So we're gonna train them?" Rydel asks, sounding skeptical. "No. Not exactly. The school is doing enough to make these kids into warriors. A little extra training won't kill them though. No, we're going to help make them into monsters." Sin tilts his head as we leave the stairway. "I wasn't aware that's something you learn." I smile over my shoulder. "It's nothing but a personality change. Learning to break a few rules and forget what fear is."
"You know, I don't think I like where this is going." Eve says carefully. I laugh. "Don't worry. I won't have you killing anyone. Not yet at least. I'm thinking something small...like maybe stealing the Crown of England? Oh! Or blowing up Noter Dame?" Rydel laughs. "why don't we start with teaching them breaking and entering." I pout, pushing the doors open to the lunch room. As usual eyes move to us as we walk in, but we ignore them, moving to the line. "I mean, sure."
"I thought we agreed you don't need the crown?" I turn my pout to him. "And how is my castle coming along?" He shakes his head. "I told you yesterday. I'm in the process of the land being signed over." Liza let's go of my arm to grab a tray. We pass them to the group and I immediately move in front of her, sticking out my tongue as I grab a cheeseburger. She does it back, taking it off my plate. I flip her off and grab another one, then proceed to get chili fries, two slices of chocolate cake and a chocolate milkshake. "Princess, your gluttony is showing." Rydel teases, and I pull down the bottom of my eye and stick out my tongue. "Give me a break, I've been really-"
"Hey Embers!" I'm cut off as we all step away from the line. The cafeteria falls silent as my eyes sweep over the room. Then I see them. On the upper floor. Where the Inner Circle kids sit, someone is leaning over the balcony. Ambrose, one of the more influential "monster" students, with a reputation for making good on his Incubus blood and sleep around, with students and teachers alike. Amber eyes, milky white skin, a lean frame, standing at five foot eleven, he's one of the students I've actually been avoiding. It's not even because he's elite. It's because I know if he learns of my current predicament, he'll try to take advantage of it.
My problem really isn't a big deal, and there's an easy fix, but I'm not really looking to fix it. I've been slightly hazed in bloodlust for the past two days. It's not really serious, it's just my body trying to get me to strengthen my bond with Cor. And I have no wish to do that. For the first three days we were here, the boy stuck to me closely, following me around everywhere, including class and hanging outside of bathrooms I went in. Slept outside of whatever door I was sleeping behind. Helped me with my suspension chores. Really didn't bother me much, but his hovering presence alone started getting on my nerves. So, of course I snapped on him to leave me the bloody hell alone. And he did. I haven't seen him since, but in the middle of the day a day ago, at the same time I felt the bond between us thining, my blood lust spiked. I could just go to him and drink from him again, I could even drink from someone else, like my twin, but I am stronger than that.
So, I've been dealing with it by binging on sweets more, and I've picked up smoking. I bullied a girl in my dorm out of the pack I caught her with during study hall. "Come sit with us." My brain focuses on now, to Ambrose yelling down to us. Though it's not really yelling now, just a slightly raised voice. He makes eye contact with me. "I saved y'all some seats at my table." He smirks directly at me and my pulse skips. Looks like I'm his next prey anyway. I'm never one to back down from a challenge, but I'm also not one to make uncalculated moved. And I've already decided he's to be avoided for now.
With slow diliberation I look back to my twin. "As I was saying, I've been really hungry lately and you know it." I finish my sentence from before, leading the way to the table we normally sit at on this floor in a corner. I sit first. "Yeah, but you know that's an easy fix." Sin says, sitting on one side of me, and Rydel the other. Everyone else sits around us, and whispers and mutters erupt around us. "Did they just ignore Ambrose?" I hear a girl that sits at a table near ours say. I ignore everyone else, focusing on my crew. "Yeah," I roll my eyes. "Wait out these last few days for the bond to fade completely."
"Don't you think he could be useful though?" Tank asks, shoving half a sandwich in his mouth. I smirk. "Sure. But I don't want to be bonded to the boy." Rydel bumps into my side. "Yeah, because you're more into no strings attached." I bump him back, picking up my fork and eating a piece of my cake. "It's better than being a serial dater." He pouts. "Hey, it's easier for girls to find no strings attached. Most human girls want a relationship before they give it up." All of the boys laugh. "Bro, you've been doing humans?" Devi asks, laughing. Rydel and I frown slightly. "We've been living with human foster families, going to human schools, in all human towns." I answer for him. That shuts them up.
"Sorry." Devi mutters, finding interest in his slice of pizza. Rydel gives a half shrug. "Besides, humans aren't all bad." Tank shakes his head. "I think we were thinking along the lines of how weak they are." Sin nods. Both of us smirk. "That's easy." Rydel responds. "You just find the ones into kink." I finish. I see Rose and Eve stiffen across the table and Liza narrow her eyes before my wings start to tingle. "I wouldn't mind seeing you tied up." I don't even look. "Sorry, I'm not a sub. I'm more into doing the tying up." I respond carelessly, finishing the cake and starting my burger. "You know, I always say I'll try something at least once. And if it gets you in my bed, I wouldn't mind letting you have control." Rydel turns, but before he says anything someone beats him to it.
"Get in line Drago. She already has a pet." Now I do turn around, my eyebrows raised. Did the boy sense a competitor and appear out of no where? More important, did he just call himself a pet? "Done sulking, are you asshole?" Sin asks, giving him a mock glare. Cor has the decency to bow his head. "But ai haven't seen you around her for a few days. And rumor has it she ordered you away." I scowl. How did anyone find out about that? It happened in my room.
"Even if the Princess did order him away, if she truly wanted him gone, he wouldn't be close to her right now. However, she didn't order him away. She told him, and I quote 'Leave me the fuck alone sometimes. Your hovering makes me sick.'" Liza says, her eyes still narrowed. "Princess." Cor says, voice gentle, and I look back to him. He tilts his head to the side and slightly back, and my vision goes red.
My body moves with out my permission, toppling my chair over as I lean up and attack, my claws sinking into his shoulders to hold him in place, fangs and teeth alike tearing into the skin of his neck. My chest rumbles in a fierce growl of satisfaction as his blood fills my mouth. Fire spreads throughout my body upon the first gulp, the second brings ice so cold goosebumps rise on my skin. I dig my teeth in deeper, letting the scent fill my nose, the taste consume me. I swallow greedily, consuming his life essence as if my own was draining and his blood could save me.
Eventually, my mind clears, and I realize I'm causing him pain. To his credit, aside from a tense body, he makes no show of it. Immediately I gentle my bite, withdrawing my teeth so only my incisors remain, and start feeding him pleasure with my venom. I bring my wings out carefully, though I feel them brush against a few things, and use them to cover him, so he's cacooned by me,my body and dragon wings at his front, my demon wings at his back.
He slumps against me, and I hold him up, slowly withdrawing my fangs. I lick most of the blood off of him, but smears still remain. I press a soft kiss to his temple as a silent apology. In return he tightens his arms I didn't know he had around me. After a couple seconds I feel him stand on his own strength, and I refold my wings against my back.  I carefully remove my claws from his shoulders, a growl again rumbling from me at the sight of the wounds, though this one has more of a purr to it.
"You really are a sadist, huh?" He asks softly with a smirk. I ignore the question, raising a hand and flicking it to signal my friends to follow me. I lift one of my claws and lick it clean as Rydel steps up beside me, holding my tray. He uses his free hand to grab my chin and turn my face twords him. Without looking at Cor he leans in and licks the corner of my mouth. Turning my head slightly I kiss him.
This sends the cafeteria into an uproar. And I'm not even going to lie, I forgot we had such a large audience. I start to pull away but Rydel slides his hand from my chin to the back of my neck, keeping me in place. He lightly licks my bottom lip and I open without a second thought. He invades my mouth, dominance rolling off of him in waves, and I melt, purring a moan. When he pulls away I blink slowly. His eyes, for the first time that I can remember, are darkened.
"Sorry. I couldn't help myself." He whispers. I scoff slightly but smirk. "You're not sorry. No need to lie." I pay his chest softly then turn, heading out of the room, pleased with the chaos I leave behind.

Ight, we all saw it coming. And if you didn't, or don't like it, feel free to leave. Welcome to the shit show folks. Hope you enjoyed.
