The Family Madrigal

Everyone was a bit shocked when they heard the music start up.

"This is fun!" Antonio said with a smile.

"Sure sweetie," Pepa said while sending a concerned look over to Felix

"Mirabel what are you doing?" Abuela asked in a disappointed tone. but Mirabel didn't answer as she shrank into her seat.

'Not anymore..' Mirabel thought to herself. Then she felt something on her leg. She looked down to see Antonio had tapped her to get her attention.

"what's up Tonio?" she asked him

"you looked sad, come sit with me and Bruno," He said to her while walking over to their tio Bruno.

"Antonio no-" Pepa started, but was quickly interrupted by the song continuing.

I can't remember all the gifts!

"oh they're so cute!" Delores said,

" yeah! almost as cute as Antonio," Camilo said while turning into their younger brother, "look at me I'm so cute!"

Mirabel scoffed and rolled her eyes at her primo's antics. She was feeling slightly better than before, but her mind was still made up.
