Asahi's POV:

The cold night get colder as I was sitting in the hospital waiting room. My lover, 𝙉𝙤𝙮𝙖, is in the hospital after he got hit by a car. The person who accidentally hit him with his car is gonna pay for the medical bills and give himself to the police. As I was waiting, tears are running down my cheeks and thought this is all my fault. Cause it was. There is no one else to blame, but me.
"What have I done?!"
"This is all my fault!"
"If I haven't been so selfish about myself Noya would be living his life!"
"But what if... He didn't make it at all...?"
"Oh God! oh God! oh, God!"
"This is all my fault..."
I felt my heart breaking to pieces, it felt like I was stabbed in the heart.
As these thoughts keep rolling like a video that never ends, the doctor came out of Noya's room
"Asahi Azumane?"
"How is he, doctor?!"
"I'm so sorry, but the patient has amnesia and couldn't remember anything at the moment..."
My heart shattered as I heard the news. The news just gives salt to the wound. I felt like it's my breaking point.
"This amnesia is caused by head injury and sadly, we haven't found any cures or any way to trigger a memory to amnesiac person"
"..."
"Are there any relatives to the patient at the moment?"
"His parents are on a business trip, and his sisters are in college..."
"Ah, I see..."
"The patients need a company to help him"
"Are you perhaps is a close person to him?"
"Yes, I'm his boyfriend"
"Wait, how old are you?"
"I may not look like it but I'm 17 and he's 16"
"I can call one of my friends to assure you that I'm 17
"Please, call your friends"
"Alright"
After I call one of my friends, 𝙎𝙪𝙜𝙖-𝙨𝙖𝙣, the doctor eventually believes me.
"Well then, the patient needs to stay in the hospital for at least three days"
"You can visit him for 45 minutes each day but only 2 or 3 people could come in"
"Does it count if I could see him now?"
"Yes, but right now I could give you 15 minutes because he still needs to rest"
"Ok..."
The doctor lead me to Noya's room, once the doctor opens the door, I see Noya with a bandage around his head. Noya looks so confused about what's happening right now. Despite that I want to hug him, I still need to remain calm because Noya didn't remember me, and it could be overwhelming him.
"Alright... Please don't ask him a lot of questions, he's still confused and scared right now"
"Alright, doctor"
"Bye, see you after 15 minutes"
The doctor closes the door, leaving me alone with Noya.
Noya's POV:
As I open my eyes, I see a white, clean place. I'm still confused about what's happening.
"Where am I...?"
"Ah, you're awake..."
"W-what?!"
" Who's there?"
"Where am I?!"
"Please remain calm, you're in the hospital"
"Hospital...?"
"Yes, do you remember what happened?"
"...I remember I see a flash of a light, then it went blank..."
"Mhmm, is there anything else you remember?"
"Well..."
"..."
Suddenly something struck me, I don't remember anything. I don't even know my name. It was like, it got erased from my brain, the important thing that I should never forget. It's already gone. All the information in my brain is gone.
"I... Don't remember..."
"Hm?"
"Please excuse me for a minute"
The woman leave me alone, while I'm still trying to figure out what happened to me. Even if I try so hard, I still don't remember. This frightens me.
As I was still confused, a man comes in with the woman earlier. He asks me some questions and I answer them with the same answer
"I don't remember..."
The man took some notes then leave me alone again. This left me confused and scared.
After some minutes, the man came in with a guy that looks like he's in his 30th,
"Alright... Please don't ask him a lot of questions, he's still confused and scared right now"
"Alright, doctor"
"Bye, see you after 15 minutes"
So he's the doctor? Hmm, so I'm really in the hospital. Even though I'm still haven't figured out what happened, I'm still trying to talk to the man. I'm guessing that he's my father, I think.
"H-Hello? "
"Who are you?"
"I'm... Azumane Asahi..."
"Have we met before?
"Yeah..."
After talking to Azumane-san, the man that I thought was my father, is my closest friend, and he is 17.
"Wow... "
"I think that my friend is my father, it's very weird..."
I thought to myself,
"Azumane, your time is up"
"Oh... I'll be on my way then, bye Noya..."
"Bye... Azumane-san..."
The doctor escorted Azumane-san out of my room. Then... I feel lonely again. After I meet Azumane and talk to him... My heart feels warm. It felt like Azumane is protecting me from all of this confusion and scare. I was just talking to him and I felt that way
"I wonder why I felt that way..."
