Introduction

Hello dear reader,

Before we start with the stories, I wish to inform you about what this book is about. If you want to skip ahead to the stories, feel free to do so. Don't let me keep you :)

Written Wor(l)ds is an anthology, meaning a collection of literary works with no direct link between each other.
The different chapters in this book are all short stories with different subjects.

As I am quite occupied with university, I don't find nearly enough time to write whole stories. In order not to forget how to write and for me to still be able to invent stories, I have turned to write stories based on story prompts. A 'story prompt' is a short passage of text, consisting of several sentences, that serves as inspiration for a short story.
That means that one story may be set in medieval Germany while another plays in a science-fiction-like future, or yet another one is written from an animal's perspective.

While I don't know how often I will be able to write a shortie that I am confident in sharing, I hope that you enjoy those insights in my written worlds that go far beyond the short glimpse the sort stories allow us to see.
