Knights, brotherhood and love

"Seven young knights~ with their pride up high~"

"Jimin shut up!"

The other knights snarled together at the one named Jimin who quickly did as he was told.

"Why is everyone so cranky today? We just have to hunt like we usually do, right?"

He asked as his mate, his friend sighed.

"Chim... we are to hunt the LAST witch down. Do you understand the depth of this matter? Thousands of holy knights died trying to kill just one witch and she wasn't even an older one."

It was known that the older the witches are, the more ruthless they behave.

It was true indeed. They were betrayed time and time again so it was only natural to get rid of anyone who showed signs of doubts.

"I saw the scriptures and some art on the last witch. They said she doesn't really go out often but when she does everything in her path dies."

Their leader said and then scoffed.

"That has to be an exaggeration... like the statement is in itself contradictory. She doesn't go out often they said, yet they know she does and when she does, everything dies."

A knight with a deep voice said as he hummed.

"Wow, did you just think of all of it in like seconds?"

Jimin asked.

"One of us has to be the smarter one if we are the hidden elites."

A knight at the back with a cloth on his eyes said, it seemed like he was wide awake.

"You are not asleep?"

Another knight with a loud voice asked.

"Um... I replied to a nonsensical question before, it's too early to reply to another one."

He said as he sighed.

Another knight with his eyes on the leader hesitated but still asked.

"How many of us are supposed to go on this quest?"

The leader perked up at it.

"We wouldn't choose you to be the one that's for sure. You are still a novice at things other than sword fighting."

The knight next to leader said.

"Sir Jin is right. We have to look for the best option among us."

"I wouldn't choose Jimin that's for sure."

"H E Y!"

"Yeah he only knows how to woo people."

"I'M RIGHT HERE?!"

"Maybe he can woo the witch?"

"EXCUSE ME? DO I NOT GET A SAY IN THIS?"

"You're right, we should take our chances or prepare for a grand burial."

"URGH! I'M STILL ALIVE!"

"How about we play sticks to know?"

"What is Taehyung talking about?"

There was a deep silence before the leader chuckled.

"You want to decide who is potentially a scapegoat by playing sticks?"

"Sir Namjoon, come on. Just think, it would be completely random and if we need some help we can always ask the bishop to bless us."

Namjoon thought before nodding.
