Once Upon A Spring

Chapter 3

Recap: 

I was so lost in thought that I didn't realize Taylor was in front of me. I looked to his face and smirk was already forming from his lips. 

"Hello, kitten. We meet again."

Chapter 3

Emeralds met copper blue gems. I stared at him as he stared to me. I blinked, escaping from the spell that he put to me. I looked around, searching for a way out. Thank God, I spotted a way out which is the back door. I bolted out and heard Taylor shouted. I just want to go home and think that this is just a nightmare. I jumped out of the door and started to run. My feet brought me faster to nowhere. I don't know where am I right now. I saw several houses that are magnificently build with statues everywhere. Then, someone grabbed my upper arm and cover my mouth. Electricity fizzed from the touch and something chilly in my stomach formed. Maybe this is what people called "butterfly in your stomach". I knew that it's Taylor from the moment that he touched my arm. Strangely, I felt calm. I didn't felt any fear at all. I should be afraid of him. I should run away from him like I did before. I should have stayed away from him. But, why can't I move away? Instead, I found his presence comforting and warm. I turned around and he removed his hand from my lips. I saw his face under the street lamp. He looked hurt and sad. 

"Is there something wrong?" I said to him. I let him grabbed my arm and suddenly, his eyes changed color to dark blue. I gasped. 

"Your eyes... They changed color..." He immediately looked away. 

"I know you're afraid of me because of our first encounter. I'm very sorry for what I did back there. It seems that I can't control my doing and I don't know why. I'm really sorry." He said in a hushed voice. 

His confident, arrogant self instantly vanished from him. It's like, in front of me was a different kind of man. I was starting to think that this man is bipolar. His hand let go of my arm and he moved backwards, avoiding me. 

"You can go now, I only wanted to meet you to say my apologies. I won't bother you again." He started to walk away, back to the hospital. He left me there, alone on the streets at night. I should feel safe and happy, but somehow, I felt that the warmth engulfing me was gone. I need that warmth. I haven't felt that kind of warmth since my parents' death in the car. All this years, I felt coldness. I felt alone even though Aunt Kat was there for me, but it's different. This kind.. I really miss it. 

"Don't go." I telepathically talked to him, hoping that he would hear me. "Please...." I closed my eyes hard, maybe, just maybe he can sense my distress. I opened my eyes and looked ahead. The figure stopped walking and seemed tense. I clutched my hands to my center and stared at him. He turned around and his eyes were filled with shock but also happiness. He walked back towards me and stopped when he was in front of me. 

"How did you do that?" He said in awe. "Did I do something?" I thought to myself. 

"Uhm.. No, I didn't. I just stand here." 

"I felt your emotions. Your longing... towards.. me. I thought it's just my feelings, but no. It's yours." 

I looked at him. This was unbelievable. Humans don't have that kind of ability.

"I think it's your own feelings, Taylor."

"You said don't go, please. I heard that very clearly."

My eyes practically bulged. I think they're going to pop out soon if I kept listening to this.

"Dude, really... Ahah... Well.. Uhm.. Maybe you.. uhmm.."

"You're rambling." His famous smirk came out.

"I hate this sexy greek god." I thought to myself.

"Kitten, you just admitted that I am a sexy greek god." He laughed.

"What... How did you... Are you even human?" I startled.

"I think that is for you to find out, kitten, but I think you have something in you more than you think."

He walked away again, leaving me hanging.

"You will see me again, don't worry." He said in a loud voice.

I smiled. Then again, I will find out what he really is and what i'm capable of doing.  

I'm really really really sorry if this is too short for you. I have a lot of homeworks and school works so yea, I'm kinda busy but i WILL TRY MY BEST to update as soon as possible and that's a promise... So see you soon.
