Another day is about to unfold. I woke up a bit earlier than the usual so I get the chance to see the sunrise. I took a photo of it and instantly posted on my Instagram account.

Post! And.... there's a flood of likes and comments.
I keep my phone in my pocket and lead to our kitchen to prepare breakfast for my family. Since I didn't get the chance to cook and serve my family when I was in school, now is the chance for me to make them feel my love.
"Hmmm. Wow Potch ang bango naman nyan." My mom is already awake. "Upo na po kayo diyan. Malapit na po 'tong maluto. Sabay na tayong kumain." I invited Mama.
We both eat our breakfast. Wa also talked about random things. We didn't wait for Papa and the two kiddos since it's quite early in the morning. Miko and Mikole need to sleep longer and Papa has to take some rest because he slept late last night.
Times like this with Mama are one for the books! I let out a hearty laughter everytime my mom would share some throwback stories about me and the rest of our family members.
It's indeed a good start of the day when you open it with a big smile. Oh, I mean laughter!
"Ma, gotta go po muna ha. I'll just go for a walk along the sea." I tell my mom.
"Sure potch! Ako na magliligpit nito. She gives me a beso.
"Thankies! I'll be back after an hour Ma. Just tell Papa po." Then I leave our resthouse here in our resort.
I start walking towards the sea and I am greeted by our resort staff one by one as they see me.
"Good morning Miss Mika." Said Mariel, one of the longest stafff of the resort.
"Morning din Mariel. Long time no see." I giggle. What I like about managing this resort whenever I get the chance is that the staff are not just mere workers. They are like our family. Extended family. That's why managing the resort this summer vacation isn't a burden for me. In fact, it's a good way to enjoy my free time.
I keep walking along the sea with a slow pace. I flash a big smile the moment I look up the sky and see the clouds and the birds. I seldom see and appreciate small things because of my busy schedule and seeing wonderful things like these makes me feel contented with everything that's given to me-- family, friends, teammates, good academic standing, good health, improved volleyball performance.
Lovelife? That can wait. I've got suitors but none of them pass my "instinct's" standards.
Amidst my contemplation, I remember the guy again. "Ugh! Yan na naman tayo." I get annoyed everytime I remember that mysterious guy. "Dalawang beses lang naman tayo nagkita pero bakit ba ako nababagabag? Ni hindi naman kita kilala."
Now I am talking to myself with a long face. "Kaloka!" I added.
My heart is beating a little fast. I inhale and exhale to shake it off of me.
I stand up and head back to our resort's lobby to accommodate today's guests. I've just had enough of walking and contemplating.
When I arrive, Mariel told me about the three day reservation of a guest. She's giving me some details. The telephone rings just a few minutes after Mariel and I talked.
I take the phone's receiver and answered the call. "White Sand Beach Resort, good morning!"
"Hi miss. We a few minutes away from the resort na. Uhm, pwedi po bang irequest na namin yung breakfast? Para when we get there, ready na." Somebody told me on the other line.
"Sure sir. we'll just prepare it for you na."
"Thank you."
I told our staff about it as soon as the call ended. There are some walk in guests whom I accommodated as well. Summer na nga talaga. Unti-unti ng dumadami ang mga taong pumupunta sa beach.
I just have a second to breathe in and out then another group of guests arrive. "In fairness, benta ang beauty mo Miss Miks! Andaming guest ngayon" Mariel said while helping me at the front desk.
"Haha sira. Tsamba lang siguro. Syempre summer na kaya! I responded.
A group of four came towards the front desk. Three men of my age and a girl. Probably a high school girl.
I cannot see them clearly because I am not wearing either my glasses or my contact lens. My mom called me so I had Mariel accommodate them.
"Miss Miks pakibigay naman po ng susi ng room na pinareserve for a three-day-two-night stay." Mariel asks my helped since she needed to go to the toilet.
"Sure! Bilisan mo ha." I tell her while laughing at her. My whole attention is with her.
I opened the drawer and snatch the said key. When I lift my head to give the key and identify the guest, I am dumfounded for a few seconds.
"Uhm.. S-sir, here's you key. Just go straight and turn left. The second room is your group's room. Enjoy your stay!" I awkwardly smiled. I can't compose myself. I am astonished!
"Thanks Miss." He smiled. What a perfect smile.
We met again! He looks more gwapo that the two meetings we had. His biceps are exposed because he's just wearing a muscle sleeve shirt.
My heart skips a beat.
This is our third meeting now but "Can he still remember me kaya?"
