Eren...
"A man? A young man? Was there someone like that in your life?" With a glance at the trembling male in front of her, the small nod he gave led her to continue. " A cold man, a cold but kind man... he seems funny. Not your usual funny, but... he keeps showing me pictures of poop, haha. Do you understand?"
A fluttering pain filled the brunette's chest. It shuddered through his entire existence. "Y-Yeah..." He sniffed, tightening the grip on himself. He was sitting with his knees to his chest in a hardly comfortable armchair. Since the day he scheduled this appointment/visit, Eren's nerves had been through the roof with itch and stagger. Tears cowed, threatening to spill and make a waterfall of the once green irises with blue swirls and golden stars.
"Um... L? Was there an L in his name? Um... Levi's, did he like that brand?"
"H-His name, L-Levi... Th-That's his name." Eren bit his bottom lip and wiped the tears that fell with his hands that were hidden in his sweater.
"I see, it's a very nice name." The lady took the box of tissues from the small, round table in between the two's chairs, a bit to the side, and held them out to Eren. He took a few to wipe his face and blow his nose.
"Yeah... It is. I love that name." Eren gave a lamentable smile, his lips quivering—the woman saddened at the sight. She pulled her chair closer to Eren, so much that their knees touched, then brought him into a hug.
"He loves your name, too. Did he... Did he call you a nickname or anything?" She queried softly as she rubbed Eren's back with one of the gentlest of touches.
Tremors layered the young figure as memories flew through his mind and tears fled his sockets in showers. Every part of him was breaking, hics caught in his lungs and quakes seeped into his bones, breathing came manually in pants. He could feel himself tugging away with every throb his heart made when it pulsed in his ears, echoing throughout his head.
"He wants to hug you." There was a pause before she spoke again. "I think I have an idea of the relationship the two of you had." She held the teen tight. "Eren... Levi loves you. He loves you so so much. I can feel it from the both of you, the passion is immense. You were his world, Eren." She said, a few tears of her own falling.
Eren held onto the woman. His heart burst at the words that left her mouth, burst and shattered into all of the stars of the universe. He let out a wail, no longer resisting the persistent rivers raming against his eyelids used as unstable dams. The water washed away the dull, darkness that'd tainted beauty.
Eren cried miles as the woman told him about the life of him and his loved one. She told him everything Eren already knew—things she shouldn't have been able to know. From their childhood to small idiotic things that Eren convinced them to do at home. Like the one time during Christmas, which also happened to be Levi's birthday as well, Eren put on a reindeer onesie and made Levi put on a sexy Santa Clause costume. Levi said it wasn't fair and started complaining about how it was "colder than a pig's shit-sicles outside." In the end, they both ended up in quite revealing costumes on top of the roof of their house, freezing, while singing Christmas carols. They went back inside just barely 5 minutes after from fear of getting hypothermia and warmed up with some nice shower sex and cocoa in bed while watching movies.
The memories made Eren smitten but also full of pine, yearn, grief. He wanted Levi back, his Levi.
"He loves your eyes, Eren. Did he tell you that a lot? It seems like it, he won't stop bragging about them." The woman said, her hands holding onto Eren's.
The fluffy bush of brown moved with the nod he gave. "Yeah."
They took a moment before Eren gave a last sniff and stood. He looked around and took his phone off of the table and turned it on. "It's getting late, I should probably go. Thank you, thank you so much."
