Staring blankly at your shoe locker, you could tell something wasn't right. Whoever was messing with you,  did a poor job at covering their tracks.

Sighing, you opened the locker and were greeted with the sight of your inside shoes in some strange liquid. In order to not show your annoyance to the passing students, you decided to shut the locker door and deal with it after school. You passed other students, who looked at you in confusion as you walked back outside and around the school to where the separate gym was.

You entered the locker room and recieved your gym shoes that were still pristinely white as you had only used these inside.

Ignoring all the stares, you entered the classroom to once again pause as you observed your desk.

Someone or someones, had written what you assumed were awful things about you on the desk top written in kanji and you could see that what you had stored in the desk scattered on the floor.

Starting with the things on the floor, you could hear whispers as other students entered the room. You had started your attempt to rub off the marker when the snickers entered your ears. A glance to your side and you could see Tomoka and the other girls, along Satoshi and his friends.

Obviously, they had someone to do with it but what good would come from getting angry at them?

Nothing because someone would gladly get angry for you.

Kakyoin, who had spotted you earlier grabbing your gym shoes, had also looked at your shoe locker to find the mess. He had also passed by your class and saw what they had done to your desk.

He knew that he shouldn't get involved.

He KNEW he shouldn't say anything.

After their trip to Egypt, he could tell Jotaro was a bit off. Which was reasonable. Not only did they all almost die, Jotaro had to fight the most powerful enemy of them all.

So when it came time, where he finally started to show a bit more light in his eyes, Kakyoin could tell it had to do something with the new girl. And he knew, that this something went to a deep, possibly dark place. Maybe, him taking a step back was due to his hope in you.

You showed sort of brilliance, like a beacon of light for someone stuck in the dark. Your magnetic personality, diligence and grace made those other than the other teens in your classroom, admire you.

He had seen the confession letter from one of the younger clansmen and even a girl expressed to you how much you were a role model to her.

Kakyoin was holding onto a hope that you would be the person to help Jotaro.

That being said, he couldn't let these awful things happen to you.

"Hey (Y/n)," his voice cut through the whispers, rendering the room silent. You turned your head and were a little surprised it was Kakyoin. "Could you come here for a second?" He called you out to the hall, but still right in the doorway in order to draw everyone's attention to the two of you. You got up and walked over to him.

"I borrowed this manga from Jotaro," he stated, loud enough for everyone to hear. With the distraction, he was able to sneak Hierophant Green in and use a cloth soaked in rubbing alcohol that easily wiped away the marker on your desk. "Since he isn't here, I'm hoping you can give this back to him." He gave you a manga, whether or not it actually belonged to Jotaro, you didn't know. You just nodded and soon the bell rang. Kakyoin waved goodbye to head to his own class.

Returning to your seat, you were shocked to find the writing all gone. It did not quell the whispers from classmates. Only when the teacher came in, did the day start to get back on track.
