"I can't believe it looks like that."

"What do you mean?"

"Look here."Sidney laughs

"Your nails are fine. They look the same as always." Simone chuckles.

"It's chipped on both sides. I was busy having too much fun that I completely forgot to look at them. Now I have to get them done before our show tonight. Kill meee."

"It's part of the life. Nails are nothing. I'll offer to pay if you want. It could be a girls day."

"Hmm I'm not opposed to that. We can do it tonight if you're down?"

"Of course yes like old times!"

Sidney and Simone hug and laugh.

Simone gets up as she feels her phone vibrate. She reads the call screen.

"Brey? What's he doing calling you right now?"

"I have no idea. Should I answer?"

"Of course."

She puts the phone against her ear.

"Hello?"

"Hey Simone, you busy right now?"

"I'm hanging out with Sidney. Why? Is anything wrong?"

"Oh I was wondering if you could do me a favor."

"It depends,"she laughs.

"I need you to meet with my photographer today for a couple of headshots for a good friend of mine. She's an upcoming black creative. I think this would be a good opportunity for you to see some new faces in this industry. I know how hard you've been working."

"Yeah I would love to do this. Um thanks for this. I appreciate this."

"No problem. You keep doing you. I'll see you next show."

"Bye."

"So that must have been a good call. Tell me the details."Sydney leans towards Simone.

"I have a photo shoot set up for a black creative company I think. I know it's legit if Brey is recommending it. This is new and exciting for me."

"I'm so happy for you. It looks like you are becoming his favorite."

"None of that he just appreciates my effort."

"I kid. But I definitely see that. I'm happy for you though."

"Now back to our nail date what color do you think I should get this time?"

"Definitely purple."
