The story took place 6 years after wei ying died.
After wei ying's death lan zhan went to everywhere wherever is chaos just to search for wei ying. One day on his way back from yiling he found a 3 years old boy.

Later that day Wei Ying was waiting for Lan Zhan in Jingshi still trying to figure out what he heard from Jingyi.

Both laid on the bed beside each other. Lan Zhan in his usual dead man position ( sorry but not sorry 😆) Suddenly he felt something heavy on him.
He opened his eyes saw Wei Ying put his hands and legs on him.So you can say that Wei Ying almost lying on top of him in a weird way.
Lan Zhan let out a sigh before going back to sleep without moving the boy off him. He even hugged him back (😏😏)
Wei Ying on the other hand did it on purpose. He really wanted to thank Lan Zhan for what he did for him. Although a thanks is not enough but he couldn't even do that. So he just decided to give him a big hug.
A big hug is not possible with his small body so he ended up on top of him.
"Uh- whatever it's so comfortable and warm here .I will just sleep on top of him from now on"
Umm,.. yeah so with that he also fall asleep. Again end of the chapter with his sleep 😅
